RP gains are soft-capped by time played (and low multiplier). SL gains are proportional to actions done and pretty solid as he used no premium tanks and was playing at 6.3 (mid tier). Had the M109 been a premium tank, he would've gotten at least 180k.
@@napiski2260 wdym? you get the same amount of base rp for each kill in the same tank, the more kills you get at certain cutoffs you earn extra rp. In what way is it soft capped? The only difference between rp and sl is the base amount you earn.

And all that for 100k SL, which I can get almost as much in my Leopard 2A4 123 by simply breathing, because the game rewards you more for existing than actually doing something (For context I can get 5k RP just on playtime alone on that tank, but kills, caps etc gives you fuck all, and the skill bonus doesn't apply to the play time rewards, and there is no higher skill bonus past 9 kills)
Gaijin put leopard 1 and many cold war tanks up on higher BR to separate and make the Match more historical and balanced. Gaijin a couple update later, 'put new cold war tank on WW2 matchmaking' again. 💀
