- It was super fun reviewing this super huge drawing display tablet by XPpen. The xpPen 24 Pro is worth it for the price that it is going for and in this video are a few things you need to look out for if you are considering this tablet.
The tablet package weight is 10.9 kg btw.
I also experienced a glitch which I found a solution, hopefully it is of some use to you guys!

I’m so bummed I missed the notification on this. I got the XP PEN illustrator 16 this week. I could watch you ALL DAY!
Thank you for the video it really helped! I just got mine in the mail and I can't wait to use it 😊
I have seen 3 reviews and yours were the best so far :) Thank you :)
My pen Artist 24 Pro arrives later this week and I so appreciate your video for setting it up! I'm new to this, not really an artist, and will use it for machine embroidery designs. I have a lot of learning to do but am really excited. Thanks so much and yes, I've subscribed!!
Thank you so much for this positive review, Haze. And how to set up the drawing tablet. Recently I purchased the XPpen Artist 24 Pro as a gift for my son....but my son is kind and is sharing it with me also. I watched another CZcamsr say some negative things about this drawing tablet, I was so worried. For this is not a budget tablet for me, but a very big purchase. He unfairly compared it to a drawing tablet which was about $2500 US Dollars. Which I thought was not a fair comparison. This drawing tablet is a dream for both my son and myself. I like the freedom of a big canvas to draw on. I have always drawn on paper and paint on a canvas...I am pretty new to digital art. So watching your review was such a comfort. I really love your sweet cat, as well. I am pleased you also have free lessons online. Thank you once again. You have gained two new subscribers and admirers of your amazing artwork.
Aww you are such a sweet sweet person. Your son is very lucky to have you. The tablet is a value purchase and it will take years to outgrow this product. By the time an upgrade is needed, you can upgrade to pricier versions. 🤓
@@HazeLong thank you so much for your reply. You made me smile today. You are a kind person with a big heart. You have so much to give and you are an amazing artist. Thank you again. :)
I love reading these sweet comments ^^
I'm kinda leaning towards the XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro as my first Drawing Display. It looks good and is like 600 dollar cheaper than the Kamvas Pro 24 4k. The Wacom Cintiq is good but the prize is way too high for me (2500 dollar)
I love your channel! You have really helped me with my art! 💕💕
Thank you Haze Long for the nice video. :) I got your brushes for Procreate and using them, I see now that you are on a higher level :)
I also own an XP-PEN ArtDeco02, couldn't afford a display tablet yet.
You are trully a great artist. Please keep it going, your work is superb.
Very useful review, thank you. 👍🏼 Love your cat too ! 💗
I aprecciate the very clear comparison and explanation. Thank you for this video!
Your kitty cat stolled the show. Definitely get this in the future
The cat yawning is sooooooooo cute and adorable!!!🐱 It makes the video even more rewarding to watch, because I am thinking about purchasing one!
Great review and love your art
Awesome review!
Thank you. It was so easy to set it up ❤
tysm for ur content and beginners start and set up for the base to understand how to use the XPpen Artist 24 pro
Great video!❤️
I really love your work, it's perfectly good and beautiful, I'm also an Artist
Thank you for sharing!!! :)
Thanks for good details.
Omg you are so adorable.
This was such a helpful review for me thank you so much!
I like your videos. I have an XP 15.6 Pro tablet, but I like the feel and balance of the Apple pencil most
Ditto.
I was excited to mine, but then I was like O_O this is BIGGER than I expect, still badass though! - love your video, personality and your cat!
Too big. I agree. I passed to my friend.
Lovely!
Привет, спасибо за видео )
ver good review yours was the best
Hi there,..great video and review! My biggest concern with that display unit is the apparent "fish hooking" that began to creep up and appear on some of your fast pen strokes. That is a deal killer for me! I had that happen with my Dell Canvas 27" and it made me disconnect it and use it as an overpriced extra monitor. It drove me nuts!!! It appears on your video at 10:13 and 10:35
Oooooo that’s a very interesting observation. I think this is caused by a false stroke from a close hover of the pencil. But once you notice these kinda flaws it’s twice as frustrating cuz you will keep seeing it happen.
Thanks for the review on the XP Pen 24 Artist Pro. I was debating whether I should buy this to replace my Cintiq13HD or not and was wondering if it comes with the screen protector already applied. I ended up buying it on Amazon Prime Day which was on sale for $600. BTW, you look a bit like Saori Hayami, the Japanese voice actress. =D
Do you still use the XP-Pen and if you do you like it? I might buy it :P
@@LisZam1463 I personally would probably go back to a traditional drawing tablet because it just feels faster to me. Drawing onto a screen feels restricting but that's just my preference. My only two issues with the xp pen 24 pro is that it takes up a lot of desk space especially if you're using multiple monitors already and the cursor isn't always centered under the pen tip if you decide to draw from a slightly different angle.
@@johnnydwicked Thank you for your answer! I'm not 100% sure what I will do yet. The Kamvas 24 Plus is also at a good price so I might go with that. We'll see, it's not that cheap after all :P
I wish you good luck with your art!
This was so helpful! So regarding the display, I have a laptop that is 1600 by 900 display. I would connect it via HDMI cord. Would I still get the 2K display as an external display even if my laptop can't display it on it's own? Thanks!
that stylist holder do i dig it into the rubber things on the sides or do i have to remove them some how?
I want one today! Either 22e or 24. I'd like to see the difference.
I have a 22pro, and I didn't realize how much I use the touch screen on procreate, and how fast that helps me draw. Using this is pretty difficult to switch over honestly. But for $700 I can't just not use it lolol
Yea I have the same opinion. The size really sold me
Can I ask please? I just recently purchased the xp-pen artist pro and when I tried using the dial wheel to rotate the canvass in the clip studio paint- it doesn't work. I don't have any issue rotating the canvass in the Photoshop
Wow!
Hi Haze 😊 Great Video I like it a lot 👍👍👍❤ Can you please, make a review video like this 1 but for Mobile Studio Pro 16 the latest version? I would greatly appreciate it, and wishing you a Great Weekend 👍❤😊
I buy same Drawing display today
Fantastic Miss 😮 looking 😍
my pens not working and im not finding any ways to fix it, both pens arent working and it says to connect the tablet but im using the tablet as a monitor too??? idfk
Help!!!
I love my 24 pro, works well on my laptop. I recently got a new Skytech Shiva tower and when I plug it in(with my monitor already plugged in) it wont light up. Just says 'no signal' and goes into power saving mode. Do I have to have it replace my monitor when using the display tablet? Or am I plugging it in wrong?
Any updates about the tablet? still use it? Experience with it?
Si Oyen! 😍
I don’t have pressure sensitivity, but I’m on CSP and on Windows 10. What do I do?
i have no + or - buttons on my input monitoring, am using ios catalina, do you know how to remedy this?
How’d you get those stickers? Those look really helpful!
I would like to know this as well
how can you setup those keys on thesideof the screen?
which font you r using for bold main letters
Please someone tell me can I use this tablet alone like I don't have a computer or laptop. Can't I use this like separately??? Should I buy this or directly ipad pro??
how do you even get the menu button to work? it literally doesnt do anything for me
Mine didn't come with a screwdriver, and that holder for the pen is covered up in rubber?
Can you do tutorials in drawing and coloring for beginners please please 🙏 💗 💕
Was wondering if you still use the XPPen 24 for art or only your iPad Pro
I still use both. 😊
Haze I have a question. Would u recommend this or Wacom cintiq 32 I want to make digital portraits on photoshop which one do u recommend
If price isn’t a factor then Wacom. More reliable n their technology is not as young.
@@HazeLong thanks
Are you using the HDMI port or USB-C? Just need to know as I am dealing with a computer company which is building me a PC Tower.
Usb c in the video. But the hdmi works as well
@@HazeLong Good to know as XP told me to go with USB-C. And now I am dealing with a company that builds PC towers and they are having issues with the USB-C.
Hi Haze, looking for xp pen 24 pro for wife saw your video 😂😂😂
Wth 😂
I just got the artist 24 and the reds in the rgb spectrum are way off, they arent pure red as in towards the orange but instead more maroon and towards the purples, please help, couldnt successfully calibratae te reds through the graphic card settings or the internal color profile display settings OR the actual xp pen rgb settings, this is really a problem when designing for films as what you are painting is not what the clients are seeing
Cintiq 24 Pro supports 60 degress tilt, not 40 😊 On official site 😉
Is this suitable for Apple Mac and use Procreate and affinity designer. Kindest Regards
Yea I use the Mac book pro with it. It works. Does not work with procreate cuz you can’t install driver on iPad. It will work on affinity
I love your kitty
im a bit late but can you use other pens that have eraser nib?
Don’t think so
How would you fix the sensitivity on the windows?
Just launch the pen tablet settings and adjust from there
I have seen some Amazon reviews that XPpen drivers contain Trojan viruses, whats up with that? I would've bought one but that's some serious issues.
I guess it depends on where you download the drivers from. If it’s not from the original brand’s website then the chances of it containing malware is quite high. The same goes for other drivers for other products.
I wish i could have too
I wanted to ask if the Artist 24 Pro is able to connect any phone?
Questionable with a lot of connection issues.
I Looked and not one person Mentioned that Not 1 of those Power Plugs are For the US!!!! That Really Worries me that she said you can pick when you Order, Now if That was Her mistake, Cool not a big deal, If it is theirs and that's what they give you when you click on US Power Plug... Then BIG DEAL!!!!!
Did anyone else lose audio when plugging in artist 24 pro?
👌👌👌🤩😍🤩
bonjour e narrive pas a trouver les dossiers de dessins
wow
Are you using it as a computer screen? With no other computer screen
My laptop is connected. But it’s literally 10 inches bigger. So I don’t really use the laptop
0:22, it's not touch sensitive, is it?
Absolutely. Not. 😂
the only thing that lets these down is they use a plastic protective stick on screen protector
Kucingnya lucu sekali
Why none of these shows you how to get to the drawing screen
Күшті екен
Early! Love your videos💞🌻
Btw I'm a small art youtuber ❤️🌹
I just bought the XPpen artist 24 pro and did not revive a card with useful links or even a thank you card or “mysterious screwdriver” whatsoever. 😮 Interesting 🤔
Waiting for the day that iPad Pro can be loaded as sidecar on all display monitors. I would also pay for Procreate App for MAC OS. BTW you are well coached in your presentation skills. A touch of feminism and equal parts of on camera flirting...great.
I actually can't find pro create on my macbook bro ! Is it only for Ipad ? Thanks in advance !
Yea. iPad only. Haha. I wish it’s on mac I would choose it over ps anytime
Do u love xppen than apple ?
half of 4k is 1080p considering resolution is like a magnitude
i mean 4 1080p monitor is 1 4k
Cat Cat Cute Cute
What's depressing is yes it has no touch. Touch is so important when you want speed. We can only hope they make a big one with touch in the future.
omg r u from MY?
So this has to be hooked up to a computer to use
Yea. It is not a tablet. It is a monitor with touch screen capabilities
@@HazeLong ty for the reply
@@HazeLong then why is it so thick if it doesn't have its own software 😡
Because it is lacking a zero in its price compared to an iPad
@@talea9593 lol there's a lot of components and entry points in there just like a monitor, in fact if it had its own software it could actually be thinner since CPUs are thin.
Can you teach us how to use medibang?
Sorry Cintiq Pro 24 is in no way the competitor to this product. the competitor would be the Cintiq 22. Which is at the same price point. Also, I think you might have some of the specs wrong. Both the XP pen and Cintiq have tilt recognition of 60 degrees no clue where you got the 40 degrees. Also, the resolution isn't about how big the display is but how much detail will be there. Both are 24-inch displays so they are the same size physically. Also, there are a lot of differences between the two outside of paper specs. XP pen has a higher initial activation pressure than Wacom which makes it harder to use if you are a light drawer. Generally speaking, Wacom has fewer glitches or issues. Wacom allows you to have different button mapping and pressure mapping per application on the pen itself(something I use a lot since I want to use the eraser as an eraser in painting apps but use it for masking in Zbrush). Also, a lot of second-gen Wacom pens are compatible which means you can use the Art Pen and get rotation support or use the Airbrush pen. Certain Applications like Zbrush com with premade hotkey profiles for their app, Just to name a few. There are probably more. None of these take away from the fact that XP-pen is a good value but a good review especially a good review that compares two products should include things like this to give as clear a comparison as possible beyond just the paper specs.
XP PEN...Cintiq without Quality Assurance
