I'm still learning raw Pu Erh. I got accustomed to horse blanket ripes and tasted some low quality, bitter shengs. I'm thinking this one would be a good one to dive into.

Don I know you give brewing parameters as a general guide. I like my tea like you however, strong and thick with high leaf ratio.
I have a sample of this tea. Should I brew with off boil water? As opposed to the 95c suggested in the guide?
Crank it up just little. Why don't you go 97C?
Use boiling water, it's perfect that way.
