I heard this song for the first time in an isolated bar/restaurant close to the shore of Alftavatn lake in Iceland, one year ago. Since that moment, for me, this song represents that wild and lonely place. I'm so touched every time I listen to it.
How beautiful ❤️ 🙏 I have loved them since "Raven Song". Years and years now. I love her unique voice she literally uses as an instrument, and the beautiful symphony and range of instruments. Real, raw, poetic, authentic, hauntingly beautiful music. Very rare in these times. 💕
The banjo is so subtle yet holds its own. Very nice song.
Saw them live earlier this year---what a great group, so talented and supportive of local talent too. Well worth the 4 hour drive and hotel stay to see them.
Saw them in Colorado and was instantly hooked Saw them again in Fairfield and cant get enough
Every song is magical!
😊😃I'm very pleased to know I'm not the only one that loves the song but when last did you play it.
please understand that if some people didn't give a thumbs down, it would be impossible for most of us to express that this band is clearly a gift from the gods, ( Choose a God worthy of giving such a gift ; circa North America, about 1585 or so, gonna thank those Gods meeself) the nature of balance, that sort of thing, really mandates that the odd soul
sallies forth, and eloquently condemns these pipers as pedestrian, thereby opening some hidden magic pass, long blocked, on the steep north flank of Music Goddess Mountain, so when our words can no longer measure the astral and celestial peaks that our hearts and souls soar towards, on ; angelic winds, a simple by product of a fiddle , a banjo, a guitar and a base, and a washboard, or a saw, or anything that any of them happens to grace. Simple instruments, clearly fashioned by deities, bequeathed by their Cosmos dwelling pals, so if Bonnie and her friends get some yearnin for a walk, they can head right
through that pass, holler at Jerry, and kiss Janis lightly, right on her lovely.......... and maybe see their own reservations floating way way down the road......... and back at supper they can share, after their little hike to ..where?? a laugh that, only, from, the Rhythm of the Universe could it possibly have come, and all because some fellow pilgrim
turned down a thumb.
Saw them at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in June. Never heard of them, now my favorite group.

Great wariors train for years to slay their opponents
But these two girls can steal away a man's heart with one quick glance.

Sounds like a great group. One thing is the title of the song seems off with how the song sounded.
Zip line to heaven
Any one line
One look at Mollie Paine and you think "star" and then she sings and you know it.
It's Bonnie. Sorry.
takes me too far away places
This is a great song to play over once you figure out the scale. I think its in the Key of C but it could be C minor; I don't know music theory, I just happen to know the C major scale on guitar so I'm kinda guessing. I can't figure out the chord progression or any of that but this is such a wonderful tune to noodle with. I really hope someone transcribes it at some point, I'd love to learn the chords and the actual written guitar part.
+DeadheadYates It's aminor, a funky open f chord, G in the intro. Then I think G, Dminor, F. I'm not super positive, but from his hands while he's playing that's what it looks like. Peace man.
Thank you very much sir!
+DeadheadYates lemme know when you figure it out, I want to hear it. hi brother!! :) fancy meeting you here..
That's nothing, check Sea Sick Steve's guitar...
IDK....seems like everyone wants a guitar beat up like Willies......(sigh)......
But where was the distorted guitar? Or the guy with the droopy drawers that look like he's carrying a diaper full of shit? Not always in the same group. At the very least there should be a truck or a bass boat. But no they had take my breath away with raw talent and a fresh take on an old sound. This has been here 5 years and I'm just now hearing it. I hope they are still together
Wow!!!
