- The Chobe river cruise offers you the best both worlds, amazing wildlife and the promise of sunset on the river , Chobe River in Chobe National park just outside the town of Kasane.
The beautiful thing is you can get up close to large herds of animals that are abundant in the Chobe National Park. They tend to make their way to the river and onto the islands in the river to feast on the sweet grass.
Its also very popular for Photo safaris.. There is a high concentration of elephants , and herds of elephants frequently cross the Chobe River. Hippos and crocodiles like to bask in the sun next to the water. You can also see buffalo and giraffe and other plains game. It is also a Birders Paradise.
The Boat cruises depart regularly in the mornings and afternoons

So nice, though I kinda heard German in the background lol
That is true. Thanks for watching
@@Liesel81-across-all-borders you’re welcome keep enlightening us. I love your passion.
Thanks. Great video. I appreciate that you let the animals and scenery speak for themselves. You've also convinced me that the Chobe River is really "convenient" to see a whole lot of animals. I like the concept of letting them come to me. Again, Thanks!
Cool enjoy your visit

Hi...which tour company you used for your Chobe tours?
I went with chobe safari lodge for the boat safari. On land went twice through chobe safari lodge with Bushtrackers (www.bushtrackers.com/) and another provider , once with www.oldhousekasane.com/ , the last time with kwalape lodge
@@Liesel81-across-all-borders Thanks for the info. Let me ask you for a bit of advice. As a single traveler, I need to join some groups to go on these tours. Assuming you also went solo, how did you find out which companies had tours on a particular day that solo travelers could join? Did you just call a bunch of companies to enquire? Did you make these arrangements from your home country or after reaching Kasane?
I just asked around I had two solo game drives.
