- In 2017, @JonathanGD released Dark Travel; four years later, he released Dark Odyssey. Dark Travel and Dark Odyssey are both 6-minute insane demon levels that really stick out to me. I played Dark Travel for the first time last year while calling with my friends, so the level will always have a special place in my heart. Therefore, when I saw that Jonathan was remaking it, I was thrilled! This level (Dark Odyssey) was originally intended to be an entry to the GDS Creator Contest, but in the end, Jonathan decided to spend time perfecting the level rather than rushing to complete it by the contest's deadline... and boy, am I glad he did.
This level was so much fun for me to play. It was pretty much exactly what you'd expect - Dark Travel but 'remastered' with some of Jonathan's new skills and techniques. The level overall looks much better, and it even plays better, too- unlike last time, I didn't continuously fail at the same wave portion in the first dual :) I think this level turned out wonderful, and I'm glad Jonathan chose to take his time making it the highest possible quality. I truly had a blast learning, playing, and completing it!

With Dark Travel being my favorite of Jonathan’s levels for the longest time, seeing its recreation honestly hits me really hard. What a masterpiece of a level! This easily tops as my favorite level of his and I have plans to beat this someday, as I do with Dark Travel. o7

GGs Juni! You beat this so quickly! It's really amazing to see how well you're progressing in this game. Around a year ago you spent months on Dark Travel and you just cleared the remake in a few weeks. Amazing job and I can't wait to see what you do next!

@@jham8672 all parts in dark travel are hard demon like in my opinion but because of the length i would say insane too. Dark odyssey is between insane and extreme and dark travel between hard and insane iguess

Fun Fact: this level is a huge remastered version of dark travel. Jon put a lot of effort on to this level and he did a lot of great stuff. He even made the ending easier so that way you cant die at the 99 robot. So GG juniper

Yes, practice duals as hard as you can. Also do some pauses while playing like: got to the dual, pressed pause
, rest a bit and then beat a dual, remember whats next etc. Hope it will help!
