    Novak, I'm from Russia. My aunt died yesterday. She was your biggest fan. Of course she liked Roger, Rafa, Andy, Stan and she was delighted with your battles on the court. She was very passionate about the ATP and WTA tours. Just recently, on May 7, we discussed Rublev’s victory in Madrid. She was very happy about Andrey's victory. But she always singled you out from others for various reasons.
    And today she's not there.
    I think she would like to tell you a lot personally...
    I wish you all the best from my Aunt Elizaveta. Be it success on or off the court.
    Good luck, Novak

    A bottle full of water from that height can cause significant head injury. He complained of bleeding, nausea and dizziness. That’s serious. Things aren’t ok. He needs rest and medical attention to help him recover fully. The next match came too soon and surely he hadn’t recovered. Fortunately most head injuries heal after good rest for some days. I wish him all the best.

      @rosaliewright4226 Před 16 dny +6

      Agreed. All of these ignorant comments come from people who have never probably dealt with a concussion. I believe it was at the U.S. Open when I attended where water bottles were not allowed into the stadium. There are so many haters who attend these tournaments that it was reasonable for people to think that it had been intentionally dropped on him. These players are very vulnerable in these situations. The number of comments here that expressed concern for Novak compared to criticism are few. And that is what is happening to society and to this sport. Both in the stands and on social media.

      @@rosaliewright4226 Unless you're his doctor or have access to his medical records, any talk of anything is mere speculation. It comes across as yet another round of absurd excuse-making for a loss to an in-form player who came into this event with a lot of confidence. What about Indian Wells? He lost to #123. Was that a concussion too? How about losing to Sinner in his last 3 meeting? Water bottle again?

    Some remarks made about the water bottle incidence is not helping Djokovic but instilling more suspicion and distractions unnecessary. I think the focus now should be getting to the bottom of the problem by medical people and come up with a solution on time for our champion. The speculation of whether it was a deliberate act or an accident does not help get Djokovic on his feet, wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹 champ, let fear and suspicion not take toll on your mental health ❤🙏

Ne želi da gubi energiju i igra mnogo mečeva ovde i dodje u Pariz iscrpljen ili povredjen, ipak ima 37 godina, treba da se sačuva, kao i njegovi mnogo mladji rivali. Djokovic is sticking to his plan. Its funny to see people dramatizing whether its his haters of fans. One year and a half ago he said he doesnt care about the rankings only slams! He definitely walks the talk. The only thing that can ruin his plan is fresh youn players! He cherry picks tournament doesnt play every tournament to be fresh which is normal for his age, but now with sinner and alcaraz being injured, which I doubt its only injury, but rather a mixture of injury and calculation, they are going to be fresh as well for the biggest tournaments.

The reason he became the goat, after his elbow injury, he was losing to everyone and he was furious, which could have pushed him to end his career (he didn't hesitate to display his madness). Then he didn't give up because of his injury and won everything.

    Coincidence no. 3: The bottle was full of water, even though the whole match had passed!
    Coincidence no. 4: The bottle was placed in a backpack that was wide open!

      If Novak's French Open is seriously impacted, I doubt they can afford to compensate him. Looking at the footage, he could easily be concussed, and I think it would be wise for him to take the 2 week recovery period that they stipulate in rugby. Of course, that would rule out Roland-Garros, but if he is concussed and doesn't treat it properly, it could last ages.
