- Available at Dyeco Inc., Diablo’s new Steel Demon Cermet saw blade series is redefining metal cutting, and the jobsite, by introducing safer, exclusive innovation that allows users to cut both mild and stainless steels for 40X longer life versus standard carbide-tipped metal cutting saw blades. The specially formulated Cermet (Ceramic and Metallic) teeth provide high heat tolerances and increased hardness for superior wear and ultimate cutting life. Featuring a special Triple Chip Grind and Perma-Shield coating, these blades slice through the toughest of metals to produce precise cuts with less sparks and burr-free finishes that require no rework. The thin-kerf body and advanced laser cut anti-vibration stabilizer vents reduce vibration and noise to allow the blades to quickly shear through metal with ease and accuracy. The ability to cut through both mild and stainless steel eliminates the need for individually dedicated saw blades, offering a one-blade solution for ultimate metal cutting performance and unmatched value story, forever changing the metal cutting industry.
Cermet (Ceramic and Metallic) teeth provide a high heat tolerance and increased hardness for superior wear and ultimate cutting life; lasting up to 40X longer than standard carbide metal cutting saw blades
Triple Chip Tooth design provides less sparks, burr-free finishes that require no-rework, and longer cutting life
Advanced Laser Cut Stabilizer Vents trap noise and vibration for maximum stability, keeping the blade cool for straight, accurate cuts in metal cutting applications
Tri-Metal Shock Resistant Brazing, a three metal brazing system, allows Cermet teeth to withstand extreme impact for maximum durability
Laser Cut Thin Kerf Design provides less resistance and heat build-up for ease of cut, accuracy and long cutting life in metal cutting applications
Perma-SHIELD® non-stick coating resists heat build-up by protecting the blade against gumming and corrosion
Laser Cut Arbor reduces vibration and premature wear for accurate blade rotation when in use on the saw

That's an awesome blade, nice clean cut, I like to get a setup like that someday, Thanks TANK
I've gotta say, I love the Diablo blades. I have them for my Sawzall and chop saw. I've cut huge pieces with the chop saw, but never any track. I've got some 5 and 7 inch track, so must try. I need to make a mini anvil anyway, so it's prefect! Thanks for the vid. Cheers,
Impressive! Thanks for sharing.
Great video, have tried Diablo because of this video and wow, should have switched years ago. Amazing blades.
Thank u so much for appreciating
I've been searching for an answer to whether this will cut train rail or not. You're the best! I have to make at least 6 cuts into some lengths of rail I own for a project.
Yes. It cuts it nicely. Just take it nice and slow!
The best CZcams video Brother leaves the details on that sheet
I will have to try a Diablo blade. I know the Walter cut off wheels are great last a long time I been using them for years
I got my first Diablo blades early last year, and I'll never spend a penny on anything else again...You can pay twice as much for a Diablo than anything else on the shelf, and you'll forget what you paid by the time you have to buy another blade...
The stock could be laid on it side and the cut continued. What Rpm was this blade turning at ?
I want to get ahold of a couple of those cut off's..lol great mini anvil's..
Get a hold of your grammar first.
Troll much?....WOW...
What is the noise level? How does it compare to a regular abrasive disc? Regards.
You didn't have a timer in view. What was the elapsed time?
You can use 2x2 square stock to clamp on the narrow cross section after flipping it over to avoid using a different tool to finish the cut. I use 1-2-3 blocks because I’m spoiled where I work.
Nice Job. Have same saw. Was wondering how to cut railtrack
Like I said on another site: Diablo products ROCK!!
I used to run a rail welding plant. We cut all the rail with a circular saw. Granted it had a 60" diameter and was hydraulic, but still just carbide.
Is that an Evolution Chop Saw? Nice vid!
Will that cut off wheel cut a 2 "solid bar or what would you recommend?
So how long did the first cut take?
Wow any suggestions on a blade for my grinder I need to cut aluminum frame
is that used track? please show it with old, work hardened track.
What rpm chop saw do you have
Is that a standard abrasive saw you have fitted with a diablo blade? 😊
Are you using that on a standard chop saw?
Any reason you didn’t just flip it over finish with the cut off saw.
Would’ve been nice to know how long it took you to cut through that
Very little time. I just bought a blade today and been cutting sheet metal, 1/8 thick. It's much like cutting wood paneling, fast and easy but the cut is very clean and seems far quieter. I'm only watching these videos to see far I can take the blade. According to this video, I can take it pretty darn far.
I purchase 8 hardened steel flat bar. I have no info on how hard it is. the measurement 3/8" x 1" x 10" in length . I am wanting to cut these down to 1" pieces. what 10" blade would possibly work? thank you
I have had mine for 3 years and still on the same blade ,I have the 14 inch BOSCH I purchased it as it has a 7 year replacment warenty ( saw not the blade ) ,Best money i have spent , clean straigt cuts , I mainly chop RHS 50x100mm with a 5mm wall thicknes ,cuts like a hot knife thru butter , not rail track Im not that brave im sure it would be ok but the band saw would be what i would use ,,, If you ever get to use one you wont ever go back to abrasive wheels ever .
Is it the d1472cf blade???
Wow!!
Used track is not only high carbon but it’s hardened and somewhat forged.
Thats amazing and you didnt even use any wax or wd40, correct? Thanks.
That is NOT arailroad track ,It is a railroad RAIL,,?
@@earldowney8211 Ok.
Diablo recip saw blades are impressive too. One will take the nose off a pickup truck including severing frame rails.
Wow good luck
They use a 125cc Gas Saw with an arm actually on thetrack the blade is sand/metal cutting and big.
Where a you getta track piece for making anvil and what do you do with a cutoffs?
Hi is it possible that you can usr a coolant.
Wow.. can i put that blade in my bosch abrrassive cut off saw? Thanks for the reply...
I'm not sure but it would depend on the speed rating on the blade vs the saw. I tried something similar to that with a 7 1/4" abrasive chop saw and a 7 1/4" carbide metal cutting blade from tractor supply. The speed is to fast but it does work, albeit it's not perfect.
I would love to try a Diablo blade and see if there is any difference.
The surface speed is much faster on an abrasive blade.
I want buy it
Where do.i purchace one of these
can I used that blade from. my abrasive cut off machine like bosch or dewalt
Un baño de aceite aumenta la vida Útil del disco!
You can believe this or not.... you can break that rail with a sledge hammer! Cut through the flanges with a torch or whatever, then prop the end up on a flat laying 2x4, or something similar with rail flanges down and top up. Next strike directly above the cut with a sledge hammer... it will break completely through! I didn’t believe it until I tried it.
I’ve heard that in the old days, they would score the rail entirely with a hammer and chisel, then hit it with a sledge hammer and it would break. That would be a good CZcams demonstration too.
This is a good demo, however I’d like to know more about the saw being used and how long it took.
i cut my tracks with a power hacksaw. im wondering what is more cost efficient
What is the blade info?
is the track harden steel
How to order your diablo blade. Im from the Philippines
how many times do you think that blade could cut through that rail?
I feel the makita and diablo are close when it comes to top quality on our job sites wondering how you feel about that
En mucho tiene que ver la maquina, que tan precisa es y que no tenga juego en sus articulaciones especialmente el eje de bisagra donde se flexiona para bajar el disco por lo demás, es solo el disco
Question.....looks like it does well on the thick stuff but as a blacksmith (axe and hammers) I'm curious as to how it would handle solid high carbon (4140, 1095 that sort) over 1"?? Like say 2" round stock....thoughts??
The rail track is high carbon steel....so i think you would be good.
4140 is a cake walk compared with high manganese rail steel.
COOL
oowwwwwwwwww ese disco si que es el mismo diablo
Éste disco si es del diablo
Do you guys accept a kidpney as a payment? 6 inch
How to buy
I destroyed my Evolution blade not long after buying the chop saw. I was a newbe to this type of saw. I had been using my Dewalt abrasive chop saw for over 15 years. I was cutting 1/4' plate and stood it on end and applied too much pressure. The blade caught and took about 8 teeth off the blade. I bought the Diablo because it was cheaper. It cuts just as good as the more expensive Evolution blade. I have been using it for over 2 years now with no problems.
Do you use the Diablo blade on your dewalt chop saw if so how is it working out, I just bought a new dewalt still in the box and it's the abrasive kind and was wondering about changing blades.
Do you think a abrasive blade will cut through the track ?
I don't see why it wouldn't. Although you may need more than one wheel.
На сколько резов диска хватает!??
Añoro una sierra d esas
nice..... so does this cut stainless also? i guess this is an online purchase since i not see at Home Depot this morning. what is the price?
They are 30 bucks and yes Home Depot has them. www.homedepot.com/p/DIABLO-7-1-4-in-x-56-Tooth-Aluminum-Laminate-Metal-Cutting-Blade-D0756NR/305554862
@@abundantYOUniverse the link is for a 7.25" blade not the 14". You got my hopes up saying it was $30. Lol
@@allenmckinney9533 Oh, sorry about that! My saw is the little one.
do you have to use a speed regulator? i just bought a milwaukee 14" chop saw for cutting steel, mostly 1/4" thick plate, tubing and angle iron. The rpm is 3,800..
You need a special saw
That's a nice piece of track I could turn that into a 400 dollar bill easy
Wooww...
Just tried this and blade was toast on second cut with smaller track.
That Because your blade is cheap AF like jr came from dollars store
@@LuciferMorningstar-ix3lb or they used a saw with too high RPM or they cut too fast are possibilities too.
Donde lo venden y cuánto cuesta?
Compralo en Amazon son muy barato allí en Ebay te cuesta 30 o 40 % más.caro
tooth count on this blade?
d1472cf 72 teeth
😱👍
Spray the blade with some lube. Blade will last longer and cut faster. Great video that thing is a beast.
It's a dry cut saw.
@@saltysteel3996 gotcha!
That's pretty impressive,I wonder if it would cut through a dimond.
WTF ?
😂
Not many people know that the diablo blades are rated for 1800max rpm and the circular saw are running much much faster than that. The Diablo blades won’t last long. They will work ,but not very long.. just keep that in mind..
You have no idea what you are talking about. Dry cut saws for which these blades are designed for are rated at 1800 rpms.
@@AJC-jo3ds tell that to the people that has no idea what their buying. They’ll just grab what’s available on the shelves.
@@hgherb hey there is lots of saws and different maximum rpm 1800 i will buy one blade that is for less than 3000rpm (Freud-Diablo 10 X 50 X 1 Ferrous CERMET CSB, Multi, Talla única (D1050CF),be sure first,I know you have good intentions but this is the truth .
Look up cold cut saws low rpms
The Diablo Steel Demon blade I have says Max 5,800 RPM right on it. I agree that perhaps there could be a more prominent warning about ensuring RPM speed compatibility between blade and machine though.
I want to bay it's where i found it
no creo que sea riel de verdad creo que lo fundieron de aluminio
I can do the same thing with a hacksaw
if you start when your 16 you will finish when your 65 and use 3000 blades ,,,, I will keep my chop saw thanks ,, I have had mine for 3 years and still on the same blade ,,, I chop RHS 50x100mm mainly ,, not rail track ,,, If you ever get to use one you wont ever go bac to abrasive wheels ever
Nice troll.
If you flipped the railroad tie upside down you could of cut it.
Not the case. The bottom is wider than the top and would have hit the blade. I tried. Have a good day. Thank you.
Hey Dyeco what do you think about those little Milwaukie metal cutting saw with the 5 3/8 steel cutting blade for like tubing and such.
Whats the top RPM that this blade can handle? My chop saw is faster than most blades like this.
Check the description under this video. It says Max RPM 1800. You can not use these blades on an abrasive chop saw. You must use them on a metal cutting saw that originally came with a metal blade such as the DeWalt DW872.
I have a Diablo Steel Demon blade that says max 5,800 RPM
I don’t understand your need to lie but it’s clearly a brand new blade because there is an a scuff on it although it is impressive why don’t you just let the tool show for itself no need to add on extra stuff
Yes, but only one time heiheihie
That is railroad RAIL. Mount it on sleepers/ties on ballast and it combines to become a railroad track.
So, can I use that kind of blade to cut carbon steele hollow bar ( 40mm ext. diam X 28mm int.diam) ???
Or what would you recommend..
Thanks.
Great video, annoying Loud music!
S
I am from India chennai how much cost of the blade
Lay it down
Get rid of the music
That’s nothing special. I’ve cut RR track with a hacksaw
Please post a video of that.
Cool story.
@@Icutmetal No video after a year, so yeah, nice story.
Show real time cutting. Not impressed
Is it the d1472cf blade??
