Mount Cook and the Hookers of Hooker Valley - Climate change at work?

Getting close to New Zealand's highest mountain: Mount Cook! We've walked the Hooker Track at Hooker Valley near the Hooker Glacier; it's probably just me but I believe we can call ourselves now real 'Hookers'. Anyway, Hooker or not, it's a hot place! And I mean this in a bad way; global warming is kicking in and changing this beautiful part of New Zealand forever. Bye-bye ice, hello stones. Go check this place out before it's too late!
