Can definitely see the talent and potential in these young kids, but I would like to see more of the drills that got them to where they are. The first couple of drills before the actual shotstopping didn't seem very helpful for a goalkeeper and the drill that focused on teaching them how to deal with crosses seemed kind of sloppy.
I have a dream and, God willing, I will achieve it. I will remain an excellent goalkeeper. I know how to do well, even though I am 11 years old, but I will follow my dream. Please encourage me.
@@mareknardi9188 they are the perfect age to do this imo. That is because you should not start goalkeeping until you are 11-13 bc u want to be a soccer player before a goalie. This is a great way to learn the fundamentals before going in and doing breakaways and extension dives since they are such a small part of the game.
@@notfounder285 I under stand but a keeper should be going to there team practice were they will learn to use there feet and ball handling skills as well as the goalkeeper practice from the age’s of 8+
as a young keeper myself (12) I will try and use some of these drills in my practices in and outside of my league. one thing though is when they were doing basketball dribbles, thats just useless. not useless but theres better drills.
This club is Burton Albion. For the level they play at I believe you have to be scouted, or maybe attend open trials. Not sure about the open trials part but you definitely have to be scouted.
No such thing, atleast my coach (one of the best in finland) always told me it's better to dive more than too little. If you dive you get your body behind the ball and won't drop it inside goal

You probably don’t even play football
The push around the post at the end was extremely unnecessary the coach should be teaching them to have quality technique which will help them.
