That part about moses was mind blowing
Ok, this needs a part 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 up to part 757! What an amazing video!
I must also say guys, your editing is ON POINT in this video! Well done! 😄😄😄

As a new convert to EO, these videos are so, so helpful! Please keep making them!
Jonathan Pageau: I think the chamomile tea symbolises....
Really love your videos even as i am a Protestant. Keep em coming!
I’m traveling around Rome right now, visiting a lot of the old Christian churches and catacombs (which are chock full of symbology), so yes, this video is extremely helpful.
Wow! Enjoy that trip!
A heartful thanks for putting this video together. Was share in my catechesis group.
I would love to see all the volumes of all the subjects, please. I really like these videos. Amazing channel!
Love these videos. I’m on my journey back to the ancient teachings of Christ and the Church and these videos help shine light on the Faith.
Great video. Please continue the "Symbolism in Christianity" topic as a series within your channel. There's an abundance of material and subjects to draw from especially within iconography and the liturgical arts.
Yes please I would definitely love to see next part of the symbol’s
What a great logo the cross is! Symbolic of things past and current as well as referring to Christianity
Just an extra information:
The Jerusalem Cross was actually the symbol of the first protector of Jerusalem, after reconquest in the Crusades. It represents the five wounds of Christ.
Beautiful. You may make a video about symbols in iconography: light, reverse perspective, non-realistic figures, colores, stars on МР ОУ, symbolism of wood, water, time, space, etc. The iconography is full of profound symbols from the beginning, and in order to better understand icons, we need to understand the symbols as paths and leaders.
Great channel brother, God bless you ☦️
good job on the decoration and the whole room, looks very nice!
We appreciate that! Thank you
Excellent. More please
Thank you for the continued education.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge,God bless you ❤ from India
Would really like to see multiple parts, make it a mini-series!
Very helpful. Thank you
Very cool! Volumes 2 through 7!
Gread work. God bless!
I would quite enjoy a part two!
Right then! We have enough of a consensus and so we shall definitely do a part two soon!
On the break from y’all releasing videos, I rewatched all the videos on this channel & came across this one.
At around the 5:19 minute mark, you mention the possibility of making a video on the symbolism of plants.
I think that’d be amazing if you ever get around to it! I’ve built a prayer garden in my backyard & I want to fill it with plants that have special meaning to Christianity, so this concept interests me.
I’ve learned a lot about the Catholic Cloister gardens, & was wondering if the Orthodox have any special concepts or ideas when it comes to garden design.
Another thought here, but I studied architecture in college. I bet it’d be fun to see something about the symbolism in Orthodox architecture too!
Just ideas tho-take them or leave them!
Thanks for the comment! Will keep it in mind.
And definitely agree on the architecture point. Would be great to do a breakdown of what goes into a Church building.
Great work
What a video 🙏🏼👍🏼
Would like a volume 2
Another great video, thanks (though referring to iconography as “Eastern Orthodox ‘Art’” might be reconsidered).
More would be great
Vol 2 and 3 please!
All the volumes, good sir.
Part 2 for sure!!
Not long to wait ;) We're rolling it out this week
Love it!
You should make part two and mention greek cross, or serbian cross, or irish clover etc...
What's the song at the beginning?
Volume II and III, please
Total Genius! Thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Great tutorial. Can you please make another and another?
Absolutely! Volume 2 is out, and an episode on the Gospel Symbols. Vol 3 comes in January
nice video 🔥
VOLUME 2 Please
nice video
More please!
Vol.2 is in the works 😉
The Jerusalem Cross is a variation of the Signaculum Domini, and in addition to the things you mention, represents the 5 wounds of Christ. It is a very ancient and common Christian symbol, including being stamped on a coin/medallion of the Emperor Constantine. It was ubiquitous in the medieval period.
There is something of a difference between symbols as arbitrary 'signs' (e.g. our current alphabet) and symbols that we naturally intuit as having meaning. The cross falls into this latter category: it has struck people as conveying something about the structure/meaning of reality from the earliest times of human history.
My Priest on his Red Vestments has the Anchor and the Fish.
Bring on part 2 & 3 etc.
In the works!
PART 2! PART 3! PART 4! ♾
More symbols!
Part 2 indeed
pretty usefull
GOD BLESS! This was great!
i'm a bit 'anti-iconography' yet.. idk. Trust no man, I don't trust me; only God sees everything :)
It weird when I'd see the PX symbol for some reason I thought it was bad. I thought it had to do with slave trade or something. Idk I'm glad that's all cleared up.
What about the rainbow
I was of the understanding that the four smaller crosses in the Jerusalem Cross, represented the wounds of the Christ. Both wrists, and both feet.
You are correct, but he is also correct. The symbol, like most, is polyvalent. The centre cross is the pierced heart.
It's good to know the history. But life is a gift.... straight DNA
I'm a Christian. Where in the bible say the good thief was on the right And the one thY rejectd jesus on the left?
Matthew 27:38 Mark 15:27 Luke 23:32,33.
John 19:18. As far as which one was which it does not say. However we know Jesus puts goats on his left side and sheep on his right. Not sure why people say repentant thief on right but seems to make sense. Cannot say dogmatically.
By the way you may want a bit more lightning because you can see camera noise especially in the bottom left corner of the screen.
The grain is scanned 16mm film stock. It's the intentional vibe 👌🎞
The gift of creating new life.... A gift from God..... Someone can give me a cross that they made... But the body comes from the DNA ... Family Linear of time through the passing of DNA
Great content. Thanks. The background music is a bit loud and invasive imho
Where do you get yer dates from
Yes please, more. In the protestant church, we NEVER hear about this. I am very grateful for your messages.
Ιησούς Χριστός Θεού Υιός Σωτηρ = ΙΧΘΥΣ.
Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Saviour.
Yes
Love it!
