If you have a system you use that relates court cards to signs of the zodiac, then you can use the Sun's entry into that particular sign to give an idea of the dates in question. So if the court card is for Aries, then the time period is the end of March to the middle of April. It may be that being told a three-week period is better than nothing.
John Ballantrae I had to tell you this, I always got the Emperor for my ex, he had no Aries in his chart but almost 3/4 personal plantes in Scorpio, I always thought that I got the emperor for myself since I have heavy Aries/Leo aspects in my natal chart every time I did a relationship reading for us, however after living with him for a while I realised that he was a very insecure, controlling man in a way only a Scorpio can be...That book I will be sure to buy it.

Before Christmas, the next six months, etc. It helps to not feel so much pressure and as an intuitive, I can sense the person's eagerness in making things happen right now. I appreciate your videos because they confirm things I knew intuitively, but had no one to ask about. I agree that we can mess people up because they may change their behaviors. I tell people the truth, give them options, and will not make decisions for them. Like, "Should I break up with him?" I say, "I'm not going to tell you what to do. You CAN stay with him and this is how I see it going..." The thing is that no matter how great or horrible I personally believe a situation is the questioner may see it differently. They may like or want something that I don't. I give them information and let them make the decision.
I PREFER TO DETERMINE TIME in reading using mayor arcana and the month it represents.I CHOOSE BEFORE HAND a card to design the proper answer..if it is love .the lovers..if it is a legal problem JUSTICE,if it is about health TEMPERANCE..if it is an investment The emperor..if it is a woman The empress..and then take out the cards that belong to fire.water.earth and air.THAT GIVES A CLEAR NOTION OF WHAT ÑAREAS ARE BEING THE BEST concerning the interest of consultant..thank you for your time and way of teaching..ROSE
There are books on playing cards that you can buy that will give meanings. I prefer cards with images that may be interpreted - so I do Tarot videos rather than playing cards. I made a suggestion or two in other places in reply to your question about telling the lady when the letter will arrive from the lawyer with her money.
This video set is really insightful. I hadn't thought of doing card numbers as dates/periods of time. I haven't done a time reading yet, but I divide the cards into times using zodiac/astrology symbols within the major arcana and the seasons of the minor arcana. i.e. "When will I meet so and so?" "Ace of cups, beginning of spring"

The suits could relate to the elements they are related to such as wands(rods, batons, sticks) with fire which would be days. Air with swords and weeks. Water with cups and months. Earth with pentacles and years.
Any would work, so long as you set that system for you. In other words, clearly state your intent with the deck, and all works out. It's why one book on meanings has a different meaning than another, and yet somehow everyone manages. It's what you decide, what's in your heart and mind, so long as there's a clear intent.

What if you get a court card? How can you determine timing as opposed to a non-court card or major arcana card which has numbers?

Sorry, maybe I'm wrong. I learned that wands 2,3,4 were aries and 5,6,7 were leo. In your system, where do the 10s go? Thank you.
