- തോൽക്കുമോ തെറ്റുപറ്റുമോ എന്ന പേടികളാണ് നമ്മളെ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങുന്നതിൽ നിന്നും തടയുന്നത്.. എന്തെങ്കിലും പുതുതൊന്ന് പഠിക്കാനുള്ളതിൽ നിന്നും പിന്തിരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.. എന്തെങ്കിലും പുതുതായി തുടങ്ങുന്നതിൽ നിന്നും മടിക്കുന്നത്... ഇതിൽ പലപ്പോഴും നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തിനും സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾക്കും ഒക്കെ പങ്കുണ്ടാവാം.. വേണം എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചിട്ടല്ല, ചില സ്വഭാവങ്ങൾ അങ്ങിനെയാണ്.... പക്ഷെ എന്തെങ്കിലും തുങ്ങാതെ വിജയിക്കുമോ ഇല്ലയോ എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാനും കഴിയില്ല.. ഇത് പോലെ തന്നെയാണ് വിജയവും.. ഒരനുഭവം മാത്രം ഒരു വ്യക്തിയല്ല :) എന്തെങ്കിലുമൊക്കെ ചെയ്യിഷ്ഠാ

ഇങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞത് വളരെ ശരിയാണ് തോൽവിയും ജയവും ഒരിക്കലും വ്യക്തി അല്ല
സത്യമായ ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ തുറന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ്‌ നല്ലൊരു motivation class
നല്ലത് വരട്ടെ താങ്കൾക്.... ഒരുപാട് അനുഭവം തങ്ങൾക്കുണ്ട് എന്ന് മനസിലാകുന്നു
After watching this video I felt that it is about me
Quite often I do suffer from this phobia when I started my career
I can never forget the day of my pre-degree science result during June 1971
As I failed miserably in Maths, Physics and Chemistry
I was scolded and humiliated and told that you are good for nothing, for the dismal failure and I even thought of running away from my home
That was the end of my College education at Government Victoria College at Palakkad
My father dreamed about me, that I should become an engineer as his age crossed sixty eight then
We were six children i. e. myself and five sisters
In those days our conditions were poor
Then I was asked to join Typewriting and Short hand
In June 1972 I was packed to Mumbai accompanied my elder sister, and I was sad for a few days then
Later I got a Central Government Job, then the salary was meager but the job was secured
In later years I failed in Inspectors and accounts officers exam
Then I decided myself not to appear for any more examinations
But I was having the reading habits that I read a lot of Novels and Magazines both Malayalam and English
In English viz. Mirror, caravan, Blitz, Current, Sunday, India Today, The Week etc. and in Malayalam, Mathrubhumi Manorama, Kunkumam weekly etc.
During those days I read Shri MK Menon's ( Vilasini) epic novel" Avakashikal"
Then I was very punctual in sending money order to my mother at Kallekulangara, Palakkad
I stayed with my sister for 15 long years until I got married
By that time I could speak Hindi Marathi and Tamil and understand a little bit Gujarati also
But I do always regret that I cannot speak fluent English, as I am afraid that I make mistake and people may laugh at me
My brother-in-law was such a benevolent person and never had any difference of opinion even now
I am an introvert and easily accessible to all but this fear always accompanied me
Previously I only used to watch videos and afraid to make any comments, for the reason, that if there is any mistake people may mock at me
Since January this year with a little bit of courage I started making comments

What you said is correct. I have also lived abroad and interacted with foreigners and worked in foreign environment. Only in India, I have seen this bad habit of pinpointing trivial errors. This (pinpointing trivial errors and trumpeting the same from roof top) is done by sets of people who are less in overall knowledge or they have fear that the subordinate can overtake him in professional field ie to tarnish his image and lower his confidence by highlighting the insignificant errors etc. Talented people and people having self confidence will never resort to such tantrums. Regarding failure, famous commentator Harsha Bhogle once quoted an Australian sports scientist and told -- "When Australian army pick an elite corps, they look at the track record of the person. If one has never failed, they will not pick him. Because if the man experiences failure (ie subsequently), he would not be able to know what to do. They pick the people who failed and bounced back". Unfortunately, parents in India (ie majority) are obsessed with marks and not quality. They would even consider lesser marks as equivalent to failure. Subjecting children to such attitude will have an impact on them as they would develop fear in the future to venture into unexplored terrains.
You have explained the very details of such attitude of people and the obnoxious attitudes of the parents. Thanks for the positive advice
