Have you been to Capitol Reef National Park or are you planning to visit soon? Let me know in the comment section below! 😎
We just went to Capital Reef last week; it was awesome! Visitor Center was closed but pretty much all the hikes were open easy to social distance. Had a great time! Stayed at Capital Reef Resort which was really nice.
Very cool! Glad you had a great time at the park. That Capitol Reef Resort looked very interesting too. If we had stayed the night, we definitely would have booked a stay there. 👍
We just did 4 days exploring the non paved roads of Capitol Reef down to Bullfrog. Then back up and over to Escalante. Amazing!
That's awesome! We were thinking of going to Escalante as well, but didn't get a chance. Perhaps next time! 😊
Planning to visit capital reef in late September, thanks for the tips.
Awesome. September is a great time to visit. Hope you have a wonderful trip to the park! 😊
Just watched this. Great video. You’re a good host. Keep it up. I’ll subscribe and look forward to more.
Thanks! I appreciate the kind words and support. 😊
Watching your videos as now inspired me again. Last week I got together with my friend and his family. We have started visiting any forts that we can get to. We started in Alabama’s fort Morgan, since Florida just lifted restrictions on travelers from Louisiana. We have even mapped a way to reach one that can only be accessed by boat. The first chance I get I’m hitting the parks you have posted.
Awesome! Glad to hear that you're able to get out and explore during these tough times. Hope you get a chance to visit the National Parks soon! 😊
This is a great video!! Our family has an Airbnb home in Lyman, Utah near Capitol Reef. We love good info about Capitol Reef, thanks for putting this together!!
Thanks Adam! We appreciate the feedback. Your family is lucky to have a home near Capitol Reef. That area is absolutely gorgeous! 😊
Another great, informative video. Thanks!

Great overview of the park. We're going there in June. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you! Glad the video was useful. Hope you have a great trip in June. 😊
Thank you for this informative video. We'll be visiting the park before summer.
Thank you! Glad the video was helpful. Hope you have an awesome trip to Capitol Reef National Park. 😊
Thank you for this video and for ideas for making my own videos! I can’t wait to visit and hike a lot there for sure, what beautiful views! Looks like I have to leave a lot earlier if I want to fit it all in! 😊
Thank you! Glad the video was helpful. It's definitely worth starting early whenever possible to avoid the crowds. 😊
Good info & presentation! :-)
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. 😊
Very good video but it's a shame they did not stay longer. We spent two days there and there was still a lot to explore. We did the Cassidy Arch trail. Somewhat difficult but there were people with children up there. We were in our late 60's. The park sells itself so I will deal with nearby amenities. We stayed at the Days Inn Wyndham. Not glorious but fine for overnight. Lots of places to eat and pick up snacks in Torrey. I can't find the name of the restaurant we ate at several times but there were many local vehicles there and I believe it was located at 150 E. Main. The Bakery General Store has all you needs. A fun place to shop. We came in from Bryce and the backboard between them is described as the most beautiful drive in America. Very close from the things I have seen.
Thank you! I wish we had more time as well. It's such an incredible place to explore. 😎
🙏🙏🙏
I will be there August 10th. This was added when I took Monument valley off the itinerary.
Very cool! Hope you have a wonderful trip. 😊
Trip Astute it’s been a bunch of replanting but it looks like a go.
What time did you go to the Gifford House? Everyone says get there early (for pie), but we will not make it to the park until around 11:00 am. Is that too late? Thanks!
I think it should be ok. We went in the mid-afternoon, and they still had plenty of pie. Though it might be because we visited during the off-season. 😊
Is Last week of February too cold to visit capital reef national park?
It depends on the actual weather conditions. I would check with the National Parks website on the actual road conditions before heading in. If it's just a temperature issue, I suggest wearing lots of layers so you can adjust to the various climates.
@@TripAstute thx
you totally forgot to mention cathedral valley
Yeah, we were a bit short of time. Would love to go back and check out Cathedral Valley too. It looked like an amazing dirt road loop. 👍
Beautiful park, but watch out for the fingerboys!
