  • In this video I show you how to install the Xomzema Bimini Mesh Sunshade with and American Flag Design on your 4-door 2021+ Ford Bronco.
    This is a mesh top that you stretch over the top of your Bronco to help keep the sun off of you, while keeping that open air feel, deflecting some of those sun rays. No drilling or cutting is required, and 6 of the 8 mounting points use existing Bronco Bolts to attach the hardware.

    FYI. I had to use the other factory bolt on the front otherwise the diagonal bungee cord is in the way of my handles for the soft top. Works perfect after that change.
    I also wrapped those metal hooks in electric tap. Seems like they could really scratch the paint. This might be the first time I actually would rather have had plastic. 😆
    Anyway, the video was helpful. Thanks

      @onedeplorable6781 - Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. Glad you managed to get the diagonal bungees to work how you needed them to!

    I have this top. Does the front door clip scratches the paint on the frame? (3’:45”). I started installing but stopped when I realized those hook were right on the paint. Thank you

      @meldh2008 - I haven't experienced that, but if you are concerned you could put some electrical tape either over the clip or over the opening of the hole. Either way will help protect any paint if you are nervous. You could also change out for a nylon clip if you wanted to, they are cheap and readily available on Amazon. Hope that help, and thanks for watching!

    Really nice video. I have a similar Bimini from Sukemichi Sunshade -all out of the same factory no doubt. One question I had was in my install kit I was provided (4) screws …I clearly no where two go but seem to have no use for the other two. And I see you only needed two as well …did you happen to get a total of (4)? I’m wondering if the hardtop install might require them …I have a soft like you. Thanks for the video!

      Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it and glad you found the video useful. And yes, this kit had two extra bolts that I didn’t use. I presumed that they were extra ones and didn’t use them. Thanks for watching! More coming soon!

      Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. The grab handles you see in this video are the SevenSparta ones: czcams.com/video/wXKHtXE7QMk/video.html
      I’ve reviewed several different ones including solid aluminum ones as well. Check out my channel for more reviews.

      Have to remove to put MIC back in?

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před rokem +2

      @@schkibz - we have a soft top, and you don’t have to remove it to put it back up. For the hard top you’ll have to release the first couple of bungees so you can close the clasps on the front panels, but you can then reattach the bungees. You don’t need to take it off completely. And even if you do, all you’re doing is snapping on bungees. You don’t have to remove the hardware. Hope that helps!

      @@CUPRADESIGN This is what I was looking for! I don't mind having to reattach some bungies. Is it possible to install with the rear clamshell still attached? So If I remove the middle panels would it be possible to attach it if I can work around the rear clamshell

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@texasbradley - Yes, absolutely, these bimini tops are able to work with both the hard top and the soft top. Just need to bear in mind that you have latches in the center just behind the driver to put the top on and seal it. You'll need to remove a couple of the bungies if you want to put the top back on/remove those panels and then put the bimini top back in place,, otherwise you're good to go. Hope that helps!

    how does this compare to your gear shade?

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Hey @shantbeezee487 - Thanks for watching, I appreciate it. To answer your question, our GearShade is what remains on our Bronco right now. Our GearShade has a custom design on it and was around $370.
      So, this one in the video is a great alternative, especially for $46. Comes with the American Flag on it or without (links in the video description) and fits well, just like the GearShade.
      Didn’t have any issues driving around with this one on. So if you want some UV protection and don’t want to break the bank, $46 vs $370 makes a big difference. Hope that helps. Thanks again for watching!

    Does this only work with a soft top and not a hard top?

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @typsytrae - As I understand it, you CAN use it with a hard top, however, you will have to release the front portion of the mimini in order to access the latches for your soft top panels. But you can then clip it back on in the front. That is the same for any bimini top on the market I believe, simply because you have latches midway down the vehicle for the removable panels. But I do know several hard top owners have these bimini tops in place from a variety of suppliers. Hope that helps answer your question, and thanks for watching!
