Where did you get the trumpet and mouthpiece from?
I never knew a trumpet could sound like that. Pure dark tone, so soft like a cake.
cake
Listen to Arturo Sandoval just anything and everything he does. I feel like hes going for what Arturo Sandoval does
@@alejandroblanco1174 Definitely, Arturo sounds like a Flugel on trumpet. I love his there will never be another you recording
@@Coderedpirate me too that recording is my favorite recording of this standard. I just love how he can go from the flugel to straight trumpet when ever he wants.

Excellent. Thanks!
Idk why, this version of this standard feels so special, sounds like tony glausi, so beautiful, dark and clean, doesn't even need a Flugelhorn, love your playing.
He plays it a lower key plus he has dark gear. Great stuff
Wooooow !! The inflections, note choice and tone at the beginning sounds almost like a sax, amazing !
The nuances he manages to find in articulation is absolutely delightful!
Excellent performance!
This is a WHOLE vibe. Jesus
A lot of people play this tune at a blistering speed. I've always felt it deserves a slower tempo; it's a love song afterall! Well done chaps.
You sir are my trumpet spirit animal.
He plays it like a sax. And, it's a wonderful rendition.
Love to hear a great standard played so originally and beautifully! The chemistry of the band shines through!
Tony Glausi -- great , sentimental and full of feeling music . Great Band .
This is what I imagine entering into heaven will feel like.
Really love the ambience.. so relaxing.. Love it..
Three favorite sounds on the trumpet- Adam Rapa, Charlie Porter, and this blessing of a man. There isn’t another trumpet player that could replicate this gorgeous, dark tone. Beautiful!
Chris Botti can
Art Farmer
Don't forget Mr Chet Baker
Bringing the vibes in a time of need 🙌🎶🎺🔥
Fellas, This is an exceptionally lovely version of a great, great song. Thanks for the posting.
one of the most beautiful interpretations of this tune. Great!
Tony Glausi is the coolest guy on the planet!
Wondering who would dislike this and why, yet there’s 25+
25+ dislikes - only because youtube doesn't offer a 'jealous' our 'envious' button

Congratulations, it’s beautiful
very interesting feel to this interpretation that i wouldn't have thought would work. as always awesome playing all round
There will be many other nights like this
And I'll be standing here with someone new
There will be other songs to sing
Another fall, another spring
But there will never be another you
There will be other lips that I may kiss
But they won't thrill me like yours used to do
Yes, I may dream a million dreams
But how can they come true
If there will never ever be another you?
Suena genial , hermoso sonido
Sounds great Tony!

Nice. Never heard it in C and at this tempo.
Hip stuff, keep it up
Hey tony it's Gabe from agnes stewert middle school where you taught us. I just wanted to say that your doing a really nice job with the music and hope your doing well in NY during the quarantine. Also I'm going to become a army 75th ranger after I graduate high school
Nice, bro I plan on doing Recon in the Marines. Hope the best for you man, and don't forget to always push yourself past what your conceived limit is.
THANKS, I hope the best for you too. I do have a backup plan in the army if I don't get in.
Nice and easy Tony, nice and easy. Well, I don't know about easy, but it sure was nice.
You have definitely gotten "Inside" of this tune . Keep up the good work !

How do you get this sound on a trumpet and not on flugel? This is incredible!
I legit thought that was a flugel before i saw it lol
eccellente suono . fraseggio leggero spontaneo originale . gruppo omogeneo. perfetti e non scolastici
Very tasty indeed!
Before I looked up I would have sworn this was a flugel. Hard to fool me since I've been playing longer than you've been living but you did it and sound great doing so. Wonder if that's similar to a flumpet mouthpiece or what that's giving you that wonderful tone. Just can't imagine how you'd sound on an actual flugel....
i want that trumpet
Will you guys please do Christmas Time is Here?
Hip interpretation! Did you know that "Weaver of Dreams" has pretty similar changes (to the original, not this version)?
Beautiful trumpet playing. It sounds so much like a Flugelhorn. How did you manage to get that dark tone out of a trumpet?
🎺🎺🎺🎶🎵🎶🎵🎺🎺🎷🎷🎻🎸🎹🎹🎻🎷🎷🎶🎵🎹🎹🎹🎹🥁🎻🎷🎷🎶🎵💋💋👨🦱
I wanna play like that... I'm gonna go practice
That's a lot of grace notes
Beautiful what trumpet are you using
Made by Raw Brass Trumpet. rawbrasstrumpets.com
He looks a little bit like Matthew Bomer with the beard haha
Nice trumpet
Playing thought! Where can I get a mouthpiece like that?
At RawBrassTrumpets. His trumpet is also made by them. ^^
What trumpet is itchiness made I bet ya.

Tony, what are your thoughts on Chet Baker? I’m not making a comparison, I just want to know if he has been an influence. Gratias!
How much of this trumpet tone is the audio equipment/eq, how much is the horn itself, and how much is the the player? Not meant to be an insult to the musician, it's an honest question. I play some trumpet but I definitely don't have such a rich and dark tone.
Most of it really is the player himself. The trumpet makes a big difference, too. But most of it really is the player.
I saw this late but, It's player for sure, and it may even run in the family LoL. I knew a trombone player who had an awful tone. Could play well but tone was terrible. His son played a cornet and his tone was terrible as well.
Oh my god, they’re fucking hot 🔥 especially that bass guy!!!! I cannot even 😍😍😍
So tasty
In D concert?
concert C major. Song originally written in Eb.
who makes the instrument and mouthpiece ?????
Is that an AR Resonance horn?
The 21st century chet baker
Hopefully without the drugs
The comments here tell me the commenters don't know very much jazz trumpet! Like Fats Navarro, Clifford Brown, early Chet Baker, Tony Fruscella, Clarence (Gene) Shaw, Booker Little and others.
absolutely salty .. im a trumpet player and stumbled upon your channel .. lucky me
Backbeat on drums is too loud. Would brushes be better here?
