I went to San Francisco in 2013 and I loved every minute I was there. I would love to go back again if given the chance, as the five days I was there originally were far to short to see everything.

Lucy Hewes If you loved San Francisco, you will love Seattle (my hometown) too. I find that there are many similarities between the two places. If you and Jonny ever come to Seattle I volunteer to show you around...I love being a tour guide to visitors because I love it here so much I truly enjoy all the tourist activities!
I spent one night and morning there a few weeks ago and loved the feeling of Seattle! I really want to go back for longer :) I then got the Coast Starlight sleeper train down to San Fran - loved it!
That's awesome! The last 2 months have been unusually cold for this time of year (probably due to the late winter storms that caused all that snow in the UK). The best time to visit Seattle is the end of June through early August. That's when the weather is at it's best. The summers aren't very hot, but are beautiful everyday. No rain, not a cloud in the sky. Seattle always feels most magical to me in the summer because you can go from a morning breakfast in the city, then a quick walk or swim on the beach, and finish with a hike in the mountains in less than an hour. We have beautiful beaches and islands as well as huge mountain ranges that surround the city.
