Spec Corvette Race at

Finally! It's been a 14 months since I broke my wrist and I've been struggling to put up a win ever since. I started in P2 and managed a nice over/under when Mark ran wide coming into turn 2, then got lucky with traffic and managed to open up a gap. My ABS module took a dump half way through the race, so you'll notice the tire smoke as I locked them up a few times. Had to back up my brake zones a bit to manage it and Mark caught up to me in the last lap. Again, I managed traffic well enough to keep him behind me for my first win in over a year. Woohoo!

LOL - that’s pretty much what was going through my mind. The ABS failed early in this race, so every brake zone was a little sketchy. I don’t instruct much any more, but did for a couple years when I took a break from racing.

Last Time I was there, that Track was known as SEARS POINT RACEWAY! Doesn’t look like it’s changed too much?! IDK 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yep, still Sears to me, too. The Infineon days just kind of faded into the past, though.
