Couldn't agree more, I live in the UK and street park my bike, a good fitting cover is an essential item. Make sure you buy one with a integrated heat shield, that aligns over the exhaust pipe/s. The cheaper eBay and Amazon covers often wrinkle up and/or melt if resting against a hot pipe.
Zurkster Do you have a link to the ones you’re talking about? Thanks!
If you park outside in your daily commutes to work and park in employee lots or while traveling and leaving the bike in a parking spot, even if near your window which it should if appropriate, or optimally under the front entry overhang at a Motel/Hotel, motorcycle covers are an absolute essential piece of gear. Not only inclement weather protection but keeps prying eyes off. Helps keep an “out of sight out of mind perspective. Safety & Security management 101 is to mitigate problems by looking ahead with the big picture. As it pertains to this video, getting a “full cover” with preferably grommets or add them yourself for cable locking. Well worth it. Great topic Jerry. Thank you.
That is a very reasonable price! Amazon will get the call, Thank to you.
Looks like a reasonable cover. Are used to buy them at Walmart for 20 bucks perfect for on the road. That one’s kind of tight, if you got a dirty bike it will scratch. I suggest day make it a little bit bigger for an ultra then you won’t have to worry about scratching your paint if the bike is a little bit dirty. Good price
I ride a GL1800 and the only problem I have taking a Goldwing branded bike cover when traveling, is the Harley riders want to borrow it because no one bothers a Goldwing.
I like the honest reviews. Pointing out the flaws makes me feel good about the obvious plug your giving the company that sent you some free stuff to promote.
Thanks motorman I've been looking for a reasonably priced cover without all the bling.
Favoto makes amazing car covers as well.
At that price I'll be looking into this brand for my deluxe and husbands street glide. Thx
Thanks for the heads up...
I’ll check them out... 👍
I have a Nelson Rigg cover for my dads an my bike. I don't have any complaints.
Thanks, I would like one for traveling.😄👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💃🏽🏍
You’re a better teacher than a salesman, but an “A” for effort. 😉👍
Oddly, Favoto contacted me and said their sales went up 20% today.
That's Awesome Jerry; I was just yanking your leg. All the Best!
Thanks Motorman!
I bought this in may 2019 and during this summer I saw some discoloration on the middle and when it rain my bike over night and when I remove it the bike was fully wet.
Contact the company. They have a life time warranty.
The link shows a 96.5" and a 104", which one did you get?
The 104''
gsfinatic I have the small one for my CBR
What's the longevity ratings? I had a cover that lasted 3 years or less and then I could have torn it by simply looking at the cover (sun uv damage)
I don't know but it has a lifetime warranty. And if you use the above code, you get 20% off. Is this a great country or what?
mine only lasted only 3 months. Buy something else.
I use a fitted queen bed sheet lol
What about the rear antennas?
C'mon. Think about it.
I do not care who’s cover you buy Out of Sight means some other poor sucker with out a cover is an easier target for any dirty deed. For the price hard to beat, not to mention in the sun - it keeps your seat cool! No hot seat here!
I carry a 7x9 tarp with ball bungees. Then, if I have to spend the night along the road, I have a tent.
And if you stencil Suzuki on the side of the cover, no one will look under it.
CODE DID NOT WORK
Hey, the code is for black size 104". But you can also clip a 15% off coupon for other size.
Sorry Jerry, Dowco is the best! Do your research and you'll get the right size for your bike. I have a Road King and it's fantastic. You get what you pay for!
You don't always get what you pay for. I got one from covercraft for over a hundred bucks that looked more like it was for a small car. I had to send it back. This one works great, is water proof and just over 20 bucks. In my opinion, ya can't beat it for the price. A few years ago I had a Dowco custom cover for a mustang I had to keep in a car port. We had a real windy day and night and when I took the cover off, the car was covered in sand. I wound up having to compound the car to get the scratches out. That was the last time I ever used that cover.
This cover rivals the $100 + covers that I own for all of my bikes and is less than 25% of the price of those covers. The workmanship is fantastic, very light weight, and can easily be stowed not taking up the room that heavier duty covers like the Dowco do. With a bit of practice it easily fits in its case. The definite advantage over some of the more robust and heavy covers is that one will indeed use this cover and not fret as to whether to take it on a trip because of room. Great find Jerry, you nailed it as you always do!
@@jpalamaro No sale my friend. But I'm glad you like it.
