      it's only demoralizing because kimi doesn't act as a team player. he drives how he wants to and does what he wants. so i can see how his team who wants to win points would yell and swear at him. it's more embarrassing than demoralizing.

      @@jamesandonian7829 yes true. he's a decent person. im not saying he's a bad person at all. i'd love to party and get drunk with the guy. im just saying if i ran an F1 team, i wouldn't want kimi as a driver because he doesn't listen to his team and only drives for the money with no interest in winning. he thinks because he's the driver, he's the boss. he doesn't give a toss about winning because as long as he is able to earn money from half-efforted driving, he'll drive.

      Kimi on average performs better than his team-mate, which implies he does try to win, otherwise he would not usually be the better driver in the team. He is a former World Champion.

      Felipe Massa(The person in this clip) was set to battle for a World Championship, with Lewis Hamilton, his title rival. Massa crossed the line first, and actually won that title for half a minute. However, at the very last lap and corner of the race, Hamilton overtook Glock to earn him the position to actually win the title of 2008(Because of Point systems and whatnot)

Only to have Glock mess things up for him on the final lap on the final corner. Also if Ferrari did mess up his refuelling then he would have Done well in Singapore and won the championship.

      Glock didn't mess up anything, Hamilton was on his way to win the championship either way, Toyota simply gambled by keeping Glock out on the track which is why he overtook Hamilton but ended up like Lando in Sochi when the rain increased. Had Glock pitted for wets, there wouldn't be no drama and Hamilton would've won the championship either way.

      If that was true it would be UNBELIEVABLE. Breaking a team order and still crying for, in the end of the day, risking your life to overtake your teammate. Mark was covering his space, but Vettel still decided to go to the inside, it's his fault "to get over the line".

      When you pay someone millions and they're running a pace thats a full minute slower for the full race length, it's actually inexcusable at the level where you supposedly have 24 of the world's fastest drivers, and you have the fastest car on the grid.     Kimi was asked to get out of the way because his contract had a clause which stated that for every point he scored, he would get $50,000. By the time of the Korean GP, Lotus were in serious financial problems so whenever possible, they tried to get Grosjean in front of him

      Me as I driver I would actually be mad at my team if they tell my mate he wouldnt be allowed to overtake. I know its quite stupid as a take from an outsider but a win just cant feel right when you know you practically stole it from your mate. Would tell my mate to ignore the orders or just let him overtake in the corner again. As I said. Easy to say for an outsider but thats just how I feel about it.

      Damon had a issue with his car which really slowed him down after the last safety car. You should watch 98 Belgium gp yourself and you will see that Damon was the one who was faster the whole race but after the last safety car his car suddenly became slow.
      Also, In 1997 Ralf had already robbed the team of a 1-2 finish by colliding with his teammate Fisichella.

      @@davidp.7620 swapping positions in that race with such treacherous conditions was extremely risky, specially with Alesi on their tail. the smallest mistake from Ralf while doing the swap couldve potentially taken both of them out or cause them to lose the lead to Alesi. Eddie Jordan made the right call, and he even said years later that they had agreed that the driver who was in front with a couple laps to go would remain in that position till the end, also taking into account how incident-prone young Ralf was back then and his incident with Fisichella (with Fisi in Jordan) the previous year in Argentina which cost Jordan their maiden win

    Ralf/Damon was not really anyone's fault. Eddie was shit scared that they'd take eachother out trying to let Ralf through, especially since Ralf's amazing brother had taken himself out driving into Coulthard's McLaren through the spray.

    It's funny how Hill is always considered as the "white knight" in the 90s, as opposed to MSC, despite this radio message. He basically threatened the team that he would risking crash into Ralf should he attempt an overtake.

    The only team orders I agree with is Ralf's in 1998
    That race was freaking crazy and Jordan were on for a 1-2, the team had not won a race for god knows how long, the LAST thing they needed to do was take each other out

    Ralf, you cannot overtake Damon is by far the worst because it’s all Damon’s cowardice nothing but that. Ralf had the pace the team would let him through and were probably thinking 1 2 Ralf-Damon but Damon realizes he doesn’t have the pace and threatens the worst

Also note Hill's fastest lap was over 3 seconds faster than Ralfs and he'd been faster all weekend.
      I mean, if we use the excuse "duh Ralf was faster, let him by" then what happens if Damon turns up the power and starts going faster, do we swap them back again?

      Sure I can understand 2012/13 being a bad year for webber but the first 3 he was swept under the rug from team orders multiple times. He shouldve won a championship but he got boned like Massa, DC, and Barichello. Webber was on the podium 40 times in 5 years.
