This song and Bad, Bad LeRoy Brown were both written by Jim Croce. I'd love to hear Geoff do a version Of LeRoy Brown too.
Time In A Bottle as well
I know Geoff must have a lot of fun doing these videos but I know it takes an awful lot of time His dedication to perfection is awesome. And I don't use that word lightly.
It's funny you mentioned Bad Bad Leroy Brown because that was sung by the same artist, Jim Croce (crow chee) as well as Time In A Bottle, I've Got A Name and so many more hits in the 70s.
Lineup...
Jeoph, Daryl, Geoff, Jeff and Goff. How do I know?
Jeoph and Daryl are basses. Jeoph sings more than Daryl.
Jeff is a tenor and Goff is a baritone.
So by process of elimination that's the lineup I came up with 😊.
I'll buy that for a $. 😂
This time they are all Geoff only. He saved himself for this. In 'Unshaken' Geoff wasn't present, just Darryl, Jeff, Jeoph and Goff.
Information given to the fans by Geoff.
Order of lineup in Unshaken....
Goff, Daryl, Jeoph and Jeff.
Characters from his "Ghost Riders In The Sky" video when the ghost riders were alive.
This was a wonderful version!!
Speaking of the clones in Folsom Prison Blues, I've seen in other video comments that Kathy said one of the clones (I dont remember which) would never be in jail. So if we assume that clone is on the outside (maybe he is taunting the others with thay train 😂) the three clones on the upper level are all otherwise unknown clones we've not seen before.
Loved Jim Croce! Great to hear Geoff’s take on this old classic, which was something of a follow-up by Croce to his own “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown.”
Can’t wait for Geoff to do Jim Croce’s “Roller Derby Queen” or “Workin’ at the Car-Wash Blues.”😊
