I have been bass singing all my long life, i always love the female reaction, they fan themselves with their hands , her reaction to Geoffs incredible voice is great, she started fanning herself right away. I love it!! Nice video sweetheart good job

I didn't see any one else post this, so...
The song is about the troubles of being a coal miner, and the tools are the mining tools people would use. The Company Store in the song would charge extortionist prices for stuff people need just to live, and the Company would pay in "certs" which could only be used in the Company store.
You need to hear Avi Kaplan "change on the rise" and Home Free's Tim Foust in a live on stage performance of "Your Man" he actually goes deeper than Geoff can.
