  • In the first game Belmonte hit a bonza 268 game against Chris Barnes 227. This is the second and final game. Total pinfall over the 2 games determins the winner. Played in Barnsley in England in 2009. Guy Caminsky helps with the chit chat.

    I love both players, Barnes is the one area of Mozart, smooth and harmonious, Belmo is a beautiful feeling of stylistic innovation, the future success of both players

    Gotta love the belmonte haters. Just because he bowls a different way than everyone else doesn't make him a gimmick. There are people that wish they had his speed and rev rate, makes playing sport shots alot easier as long as you can control it.

      John Goode bowling two handed is a lot harder than everybody thinks and I've been bowling two handed for almost all my life and I love two handed bowling and it makes me a very powerful team member however the coaches think way less of you

    Does someone also have the first game of Barnes-Belmonte? Would love to see that one, too.
    Thanks.

    what's the name of the spare ball that belmonte uses? is that the blue dot?

  • @shado3mane
    @shado3mane Před 13 lety +3

    @vidgamescool if it was that easy to get that power, speed, and rev rate with 2 hands and control it and be accurate, then everyone would do it. It's a lot harder then it looks and puts a lot more strain on certain parts of the body in order to accomplish it. I've tried it and couldn't do it with any consistency. I already get a good amount of speed and revs with one hand anyway, same with Belmonte and Palermaa. It's just more comfortable for them to do it 2 handed. The bottom line is it's not

      John Goode now look. There are a lot of two handlers now. I tried it and I went from a 120 average to 180 average. I don’t bowl a lot either

    One of my buddies bowls in Barnes' region and beat in a three game set for a couple hundred bucks. He said, "Just stay with him for 8 frames and he'll choke."

    If total pinfall determined the winner (said in description), then why was belmo so happy that he won the 2nd match by 1? Also, why were the commentators like "it all comes down to this" or smth? Hence, technically speaking when belmo got the five bagger, he would have had already won, no?

    • @loukerst9091
      @loukerst9091 Před 5 lety +4

      because usually in total pinfall matches, you get pin bonuses for actually winning the game. Its usually like 50 pins or something like that

    Damn belmo was murdering the pocket this day! He should have shot the front 10 but got some bad carry. Just one miss the whole game in the 10th and Barnes left the door open for him

    Belmonte has better start winning again. He didn't win one tournament in 2016. He needs to earn as much as he can before he gets too old. Can you see him in the PBA50? He wont have a back by then.

    • @odellus
      @odellus Před 7 lety

      well, he won two out of three majors so far in 2017. maybe he'll somehow manage to win more at the wsob or us open. his form looks a lot different compared to 2016.

  • @vidgamescool
    @vidgamescool Před 13 lety

    @shado3mane Well, some people just don't like that he uses two hands to get that monstrous hook and really hit the pins hard. Even a youth bowler could do that and average 245.
