zhlédnutí 3,7KPřed 5 lety
1981 Triple Crown for Tenpin Bowling. This is in Acocks Green in Birmingham England. Originally filmed on video and then converted to DVD which is why it's a little dark, but of interest to senior bowlers today in the UK who remember these National Tenpin Bowlers.
Presentation to UK tenpin bowlers early 80's.
zhlédnutí 453Před 6 lety
Of interest to Senior UK bowlers today of some old bowling friends. No bowling being played just the presentation of prizes to the winners of a Scratch Bowlers Club final event.
Some UK bowlers from early 80's.
zhlédnutí 1,2KPřed 6 lety
This clip is of interest to senior bowlers today in the UK. The 1973 AMF Bowling World Cup winner Bernie Caterer is bowling here on the same pair as Geoff Buck. This event was a Scratch Bowlers Club event held in Stevenage.
A young Steve Offord of B&S Pro Shop, McDonough Georgia.
zhlédnutí 714Před 6 lety
Steve Offord bowling many years ago when he lived in the UK. Senior bowlers in England will remember him from the London area. This was taken in Aylesbury early 80's, so in the region of 35 years ago. Originally converted from Betamax to DVD so quality bit dodgy.
A few UK bowlers from way back.

Some bowlers of interest to people in the UK who are now Senior Bowlers. 1981. Look out at the end for a certain Bernie Caterer who was the AMF World Cup winner in Singapore 1973.
Premier Tenpin Bowling Club UK. 1981.
zhlédnutí 1,3KPřed 6 lety
Of interest to UK seniors who bowled way back in the 70 & 80's. A PTBC event held in the Stevenage Bowling centre (that was previously operated by ATV's Ambassador Bowling). Recorded on video and not digital which is why it's a bit dark in places but to the bowlers who were around then people are recognisable.

Lots of famous faces and names here from about 1981 (?) being presented with trophies from the even more famous Dave Binstock. Some senior bowlers today will have played lots of these PTBC tournaments that was set up by Alan Weall, Dave Maberley, Chris Wheeler and Dave Binstock. Chris Wheeler on the mic.
Amsterdams Knijn International Bowling Tournament presentation.
zhlédnutí 306Před 6 lety
Presentation to the Richmond Grill Team from Portsmouth in the Knijn International Bowling Tournament. Possibly 1981 ? Knijn is in Amsterdam and this was a well run tournament that no longer takes place. Many Britt teams ventured to this annual tournament. Quality not to brilliant but this is a conversion from a VHS tape.
Knokke Belgium bowling. 1975
zhlédnutí 547Před 7 lety
Short clip from a bowling tournament in Knokke, Belgium. The first bowler shown is the left hander, the late Louis Wildermeersch. Louis was in the Belgian national team that played in the World Championships in Milwaukee in 1971. This centre closed many years ago.
Premier Tenpin Bowling Club. Dagenham UK 1980.
zhlédnutí 1,9KPřed 7 lety
Some UK bowlers from 1980 playing a PTBC event in Dagenham UK, including myself at 0.30 leaving a 10 pin. Although quality is not top notch, its possible to recognise all of these bowlers from way back. A few of the people in the vid (like me with the 7-10 split) are still bowling. Most have given up the game and a few others are alas no longer with us. No sound on video.

Bill Hoffman, the best bowler you never heard of
12:44 The 10 pin denied the perfect 300 game.
The 10 pin is evil….
Mallot is a great bowler but he has to be one of the dumbest bowlers on tour...behind simonson
@@gixxergarry Cant be that dumb if they are pro bowlers on tour making money. How many times have you cashed in tournaments ? Thanks for viewing though.
@@thiswilldoblue lol skill doesn't equate to having smarts...listen to the dude speak
Great coverage of the split!!!
Great Vintage Bowling!!
And he’s still scoring big numbers today.
When Things were Much Happier!!!!!😢
Cool to see classic Ten Pins from the UK!!!!
Previous comments on Bo’s sloppy conversion of the 1-2-4 suggested that they probably did several takes of that spare attempt, yet still ended up with a mediocre finished product. Personally I don’t think they necessarily did several takes. I wouldn’t doubt that the production crew decided that as long as Bo converted the spare, there was no need for a retake.
I thought Jason Couch wasn't going anywhere?
Bummer.
Great game but bummer outcome.
I was expecting him to pick it up. I thought that was the reason for it being on CZcams.
Is a real shock to leave that. Working a 5-bagger this year and Bang!! Pocket 5-7-10.
Let go USA 🇺🇸
Two of my favs from the past
The split known a sThe Lilly on the tour. So that explains the bemused look on his face.
The announcers should never say "it'll be an open frame" before the shot is thrown ... no spare combination is impossible, none have a 0 percent conversion rate.
Murphy's law in action here
Always good to see Pete lose.
What's this million dollar quest all about ?
Bob Benoit is what I always imagined a professional bowler looking like
Congratulations Tommy on your 300. Very awesome.
One of my favorite bowlers.. Congratulations on your 300
Congratulations on your 300 Tommy.
One of my all time favorite bowlers. Tommy Jones
One great bowler Tommy Jones. Always enjoy watching him bowl.
I met Paeng in Singapore at the FIQ in 1991, in the teams part of the tourney, my country bowled on the same lanes as his for one game, we both had the anchor spot in that game, he had a horrible game I think I beat him by 60-70 pins, then he came roaring back, he still shot 1200 plus for 6 games that day
We were here watching this magnificent duel in bowling.
Lolo ko yan ❤❤❤
Wtf was the point of that ?
What’s the point of what ?
Does Weber hook the ball? I feel like he throws it very straight from an angle, but no hook?
Distracted. 🙁 To actually get it though you need a light ball.
When bowling was a lot more fun to watch. It is now entertainment. The PBA kind of became like the WWE. I did get a kick when they said Pete Weber was mellow. Just wait for it in the years to come lol
I think I saw Piccini commit an infraction by patting a rosin bag over her thumbhole and not wiping it off the outside of the ball.
Was this a ruling in 1997 ?
That's got to be the smallest bowling ally in the world!
A lot of money back then, today cars cost 100,000 and homes 1,000,000.
Un-watchable, terrible video quality!
This was found on a Betamax video and transferred to VHS then put to DVD. Collecting all the guff every time. It’s better to see this at this quality than not at all for us true bowlers. And Mark…. I see you haven’t got any uploads at all.
Real men use 1 hand to bowl. Left Europe in 1776 and never looked back.
Are you SURE that's Belmo? This guy is clean-shaven!
This feels illegal to watch...
I feel punked; thought he made it!😠
Mr 300❤
"We have it!"
His and Bob Benoit's are the most memorable to me.
3:06 Osku peeled the curtain back 🤯
I've tried bowling the other day and I fell in love already I think I found the sports I would really love now.
Excelente jugador mexicano, muy ortodoxo, sereno, seguro.
10 back. 17.5 board every single shot. Absolute perfection
