    I've said it before, I'll say it again; you are the best! I spent months studying all of my choices and in the end, I went with ABGD. I could have saved a great deal of time and stress just by watching your videos! Thank you for teaching others!

    In your presentation the whiteboard that shows the A and B supplements should include and show all the fees including $174.10 monthly fee. I didn’t realize that the 174.10 is a monthly on top of that $240 deductible yearly.

    Another clear and informative video. I have an age based Plan F so that initial deductible is paid by my January premium. There is only one source of money, premiums, so indirectly commissions are paid by the policy holder, it's built into the premium.

    Can I switch from plan high deductible G to plan N or to plan G using the birthday rule or the anniversary rule in Missouri?

    • @MedicareSchool
      @MedicareSchool  Před 8 dny

      You can switch to a plan that is equal. Plan G or N you wouldn't be able to switch to without underwriting since that is a greater plan. You can only switch to another high deductible plan G without underwriting.

    Oh! Finally some information that makes some sense anyway! I have no idea on what to do.
    I am on disability, and was on Medi-Cal. Medicare kicked in last year. I kept Medi-Cal as my secondary.
    Well this year I am being moved to Medicare due to my age, not because of disability. Due to my income Medi-Cal has moved me to share of cost. Longer story, you don't want to know. Fast forward I need to get off Medi-cal (which basically has a large monthly deductible), and onto a Medigap plan. To add to the confusion I am on a program called Extra Help which pays for Part D which is supposed to last for the rest of this year, but I will need a Part D next year . I have no idea if this is right.
    You see why I am so confused.😵

      Plan N provides comprehensive coverage without the 25 percent more premium that you get with plan G. Also N has annual increases of 0 to 3 percent vs 10 to 20 percent for G. Excess charges are rare and illegal in 8 states and are more of an issue with psyc. doctors. Copays are not an issue unless you visit the doctors more than two times a month. HDG is also good if you want catastrophic insurance and self insure. That has very low rate increases also and the only way you will hit that 2800 dollar limit if you have a major event like cancer.

    I’m 64 on disability and I just received a letter saying in July I’ll be enrolled in parts A and B, and I told my wife I’m going to be getting medi-gap and was looking around and was told I can’t look around til July
    Wait actually I’m 63, July I’m 64, but they have me listed as eligible for A and B in July and I’ll have been on disability for about a year
    Is that normal for a person on disability to get A and B early
    And thank you for the videos they’re very informative for me

      It's not uncommon for individuals under 65 who qualify for Medicare due to disability to be automatically enrolled in Parts A and B after a certain period of eligibility. One of our licensed agents in your state would be able to help you and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Give us a call at 800-864-8890 or schedule an appointment at www.medicareschool.com

    Hi. I’m still working and planning to apply with my wife for ABDG in 12/31/25. I was born 8/22/1958 and my wife was born 12/11/1960. What date period we must apply for Medicare and Medigap?

    • @MedicareSchool
      @MedicareSchool  Před 4 měsíci

      You will want to begin the process at least 2-3 months before you plan to lose coverage from your current employer. Everything can begin right after the employer coverage ends so there are no gaps in insurance for you all.

    What if I'm on high deductible plan G and I want to switch to plan N or plan G more than 6 months after I start medicare part B? Can I do that and, if so when? What is required to make the switch in Missouri?

    • @MedicareSchool
      @MedicareSchool  Před 10 dny

      You can make changes to a supplement plan any time through the year, you will have to go through medical underwriting to do so.

    I am 55 and in SSDI and I am getting Medicare I wanted to get part G and they said I am to young to get that in New Mexico why can’t I get part G I am starting my Medicare now in May I can get part C but not G do you know why that is

    • @MedicareSchool
      @MedicareSchool  Před 4 měsíci

      Most states do not offer supplement plan under the age of 65. The few states that do offer them at a MUCH higher price than the standard amount at 65. Once you do reach the age of 65 you'll be able to transition to a supplement at that time WITHOUT any underwriting. Here is a video discussing this topic as well czcams.com/video/hTwF6ME9oeM/video.html
