Bro… the fact that the stores you go to and can just see so many Skylanders figures in one place is nothing short of a miracle! I’m pretty sure there are 0 Skylanders in the entire state of Texas rn (for sale, at least), but somehow people much luckier than me just walk into a store and walk out with a bag of Skylanders
I hope to have a video showcasing some of this in the next few weeks, but I guarantee you there are tons of Skylanders for sale in Texas. So far Texas has been one of my favorite places to hunt overall.
There’s a plenty of Skylanders in Texas 🤷♂️ (I live there in that state). Try searching up “retro game stores” and ask the employees if they have any Skylanders. That’s what I do to acquire mine .
The Bloomington, IL mega replay barely had any skylander stuff last time I traveled. I've visited the Champaign one before and had some more skylander stuff

OK, I've seen this before if you're a game craze and they should be open but there's no open sign them. That means the employee is on his launch break.
This was like 30 minutes before the store was supposed to close for the night, I don't think they were at lunch.

Florida is a big state, but I know there are both game stores and flea markets in Florida that have Skylanders. I haven't been hunting there myself, but I know people who have.

Is it only the new in box figures that are sold in auction or do the loose chase variants get sold in auction as well.
I've done both, but I have a lot of in box product right now so more and more of the loose chase variants have been going to the shop.
Why do you get multiple of some? I just started collecting and I dont think id ever pay for a duplicate
My personal collection is quite complete. I only need like 20 figures and they're all rare. So the stuff you see me pick up in these videos is typically inventory for my shop because I'm trying to help other Portal Masters complete their collections as well. sclcollectibles.com

Wait the white boxes are replacement figures? I never knew that, I got Lightcore shroomboom and Prism break in those boxes when I first started collecting Skylanders again (it was an Amazon order so it may or may not have been legit)
That was just one example of times when they were used. If you got them from Amazon it was likely just a third-party seller. Amazon would never sell them directly.

There are a handful of NIB figures already listed on the site. But the majority of NIB figures are sold at auction. This could be either Private Auctions that are exclusive to the VIP Members or Public Auctions that take place over on Whatnot.
