Dude it's funny you did this because now these are being produced with the grom engine, its clean. I hope they kept the dimensions the same on the body panels so we can still swap in wire wheels. Clean build, wish I could buy this but on across the pond

I got an original 1980 C70 I've had since I was 15 hasn't run since 1990, sat out unbeknownst to me few years back and rusted away, think the frame ok and rear mudguard even might be but the wheels seat both fell apart, engine did kick over few years back, but everything rusted away pretty bad, want to restore it properly ground up maybe do an engine rebuild on it myself I'm pretty handy if not a mechanic I can work things out like that pretty well, so thinking I might give it a go at a full restore for last 3 years just 2 things stopping me.. 1. Cost (not sure where to source cheap parts here in UK as everything I looked at seemed to be mega expensive even to import, so any advice there would be great whether Honda or After market parts long as they decent quality and safe I'm not that bothered as can always swap em back to honda later down the line when funds permit... 2. Whether to do an "Original style" restoration, keeping it as it came out the factory look so to speak, or 2 go with a Café Racer style or similar. Seen loads of different mods in Thailand, Japan, etc.. Any thoughts and advice on the above and any ideas on good places to source parts in UK cheap as possible ideally would be great! Thanks and TOP DRAWER restoration/mods mate 👍😎

Wow! I have fallen in love with your bike. So bad ass! I was hoping you could tell me how to go about getting some of these parts from Malaysia.? Rims, spokes, those honda wave hubs, the added front springs on the forks, the rear upper shock mount extensions , i believe ive found a website for the swing arm upgrades. Any help would be more than appreciated.

Hey man, your bike looks awesome. Im getting a cub as my first bike, I dont need anything faster or larger as I just need it to commute medium distances. Is your speedometer custom? Where did you get it? Im not sure what the laws are in your country but in mine, it is required to have a rear brake light as well as rear indicators so im having to find a suitable combination. Finally, when you remove the rear fairing/mudguard piece, does any cutting/further modification needs to be done to fit in a larger wheel/tire size? Thanks!
