When I ran in highschool I used to have a stiff arm its prolly engraved in muscle memory for her by now only problem is maybe it's making her tense up too soon as she isn't really relaxing her body it's great for the drive phase but she could be exerting to much afterwards. My opinion though...
It’s amazing English Gardner is in the kinda shape to run down Abby Steiner; I am wondering if she’s finally getting back into shape after that crazy injury. She’s still world class…just not her old level.
@@dmvbay2535 yes, but that wasn’t my point. Gardner is more of a starter who holds her speed (although she catches people when in her best shape), while Abby catches people as well. In this race, Gardner caught and passed Abby…showing her top speed is higher right now, which is scary, because Gardner has been out of shape since she got her ACL surgery from her injury! Last year, Gardner was very upset to not make the team and said she’s going to make many changes, but it appeared it is time to hang up her spikes. Now, it is looking like she may have one final breath of life!
Look at it like this- you can still drive your r car really fast with the passenger side door wide open, but how much resistance and drag is created by having that thing flail out there? Also potential mechanical & injury issues pop up by flailing that arm out. The injuries are already present. Too many rotation problems. Career will be cut short due to injury.
Gardner 11:22 🎉 Never Count Her Out ! If She's Healthy Look Out ! She's a Gold Medal Winner in 100 Relay !
Abbey can run with that crazy arm swing but, if it works for her it works!!!!
did she win???

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I know - right? Her arm swing is hilarious!
@@dmcdgames2388 She used to have a more conventional swing.. this is what she used for indoors.. Then decided to keep it for outdoors too
Rotflmao, yeah, it gets her behind the pack. But whatever you say
Steiner slowly working her way back from foot surgery.......she will be dominant when she is back to top form....
Dom, what?? lol...ok
And you are hyper-focused on Steiner why?
When was she dominant lol
Nationally maybe for that 2022 season.
She hasnt done anything individually in international level yet
@@fin2643 See 2022, only two years ago. Hate harder.

Gardner was always a 100m runner 1st. Abby is more of a 200m runner. I would expect a healthy Gardner to beat Abby 9 out of 10 times in the 100m.

No voice commentary? No times? Not worth watching - will look for another video with more info.
Man, I wish Sydney ran this too
LOL. Syd is putting big scares in all these races.

Shit can that arm swing or keep losing.
I'm just looking at that guy with maroon shirt on the bottom of the screen🤤
I sure would like to see Abby and Gabby on the 4X100 relay. I wonder how many more opportunities they will have before the team is picked.
First they have to make the Olympic team. I keep saying Gabby needs to watch herself. At this point she might be on no relay team
@@gns3185 I don't see how either one of them make a relay team at this point. Hopefully they will have a solid 100m or 400m in the next few weeks.
@@lasvegas4164 It is going to be interesting.
English gardner winner
go English go
Steiner is very stand offish post race. Is she the shy anti-social type, or racially biased?
I dont get this comment. Where do you get this from this clip?
