I Spent the Day With Salem's Satanists & Witches

- In this video, I spent the day with Satanist witches in Salem, Massachusetts, aka “The Witch City.” Growing up in Beverly, MA, which is right next door to Salem, I always had a fascination with witchcraft and the history of Salem.
Now a place for modern witches to practice freely, just a few hundred years ago, Salem experienced a Witch Hunt that has gone done in history. The Salem Witch Trials began in January of 1692 and by September, only nine months later, 19 people were executed by hanging, 1 man was pressed with stones, and hundreds of others died in jail. While some were tortured to confession, many maintained their innocence.
Long before the Salem Witch Trials began in the 1400s with the European witch trials. At the end of the 14th century, the plague wiped out nearly one-third of the population. Survivors strived to find an explanation and many pointed their fingers at witches, labeling single women or those who held knowledge of ancient folklore as working for Satan. Hundreds were burned and tortured during this time.
After the Puritans settled in Massachusetts Bay around 1630, the community would suffer years of hardship to find their way in the New World. Including failure of crops, famine, war, a smallpox epidemic, and a mini Ice age. Tensions ran high and the community sought answers. January of 1692 marked the beginning of the famous Salem Witch Trials. It all started when daughter Reverend Samuel Parris, Betty Parris, and her cousin Abigail Williams began “having fits.” Doctors had no answers so it was suggested that they must be bewitched. Soon, other girls in Salem Village began having the same afflictions and the community began to panic. When asked who is bewitching them, they name three names: Sarah Good, Sarah Osbourne, and Tituba, the slave of Reverend Parris. People fear that the Devil is loose in Salem and is controlling a secret coven of witches to cause harm. With this, the hysteria heightens and hundreds of people are accused, arrested, and thrown in jail.
Going into this experience I’ll admit that I definitely had some fears about being around Satanists and witches who I didn’t know. I had no idea what these people were going to be like. But after spending time with Thomas, Pixie, and Sarah-Frankie, I ended up learning so much and really getting to know the human beings in front of me. I realized I had no reason to be afraid of them and my fears were only coming from the fear of the unknown. My new friends taught me so much about history, religion, and their belief system and I absolutely loved spending the day with them. This experience was an incredible reminder to release judgment of others and if you take the time to get to know someone, you might be surprised by what you learn.

The Rule of Three is a principle of Wicca, not Witchcraft. Wiccans can be Witches but not all Witches are Wiccan. Wicca is a religion and Witchcraft is a practice. We're not all the same and we do not follow the same path.

In essence anyone can practice it regardless of religion or lack thereof. Wicca is a religious practice that requires separate study in addition to your study of Witchcraft and usually initiation. You don't have to be initiated to be a Witch. You just decide to be one, and you start working on your Magickal practice.

Discovered this channel yesterday and I absolutely love it. There's so much you can do on social media that's pretty much a waste of time, but I've been coming across channels and accounts that are just so beautiful and inspiring.. really brings out the positive side and the connections we can reach through social media.
I am a Christian and I have friends who are witches and it really upsets me when I think about what Christians did to these women. It actually makes me cry because nobody deserves to be treated that way and especially not from people who are told to love others.
Actually, even Roman and Asian pagans killed witches, or at best fined them. No religion (or lack of) has exclusivity on hate. Not long ago atheist Soviets killed far more orthodox priests than all "killed witches" count together in history.

If you have a bible but don’t know where to start reading. My suggestion is to start in the book of John. I know you will receive Gods blessings and gain faith in Jesus. Romans 10: 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Christianity is beginning its (hopefully permanent) decline in the US, and the younger generation is embracing other alternative spiritual pursuits instead, so it is a great time for people seeking those different paths here!
All witches and satanists practice different beliefs. Some curse, others don’t. Some do sacrifices, others do not. It all really depends. Spirituality is a lot more complex.

I went to Salem a few years ago, and it was just one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. As someone who lately has been struggling with stress and having a hard time relaxing at any point of the day, your video brought just so much calmness and wonderful memories. This was a great video just like the other ones you make, however it's unfortunately filled with false information about ''witchcraft''. For example the rule of three, this rule is a part of the Wicca religion and a lot of witches do not believe in it because they're simply not wiccan. Another example about curses, witches can and do curse and it all depends on the witch's practice and craft. Good luck to you ❤️
As mentioned in the video, there are many different types of witchcraft and many different types of Satanism. I was sharing the perspectives of 3 witches in Salem and their beliefs. There are bad people in every religion who do bad things, but I really liked these people and they shared honestly and openly with me.

There’s definitely a level of discernment that the viewer needs to have when watching anything as there’s always nuance to every topic that can’t possibly all be covered in one CZcams video. I do my best to cover as much as possible!

I remember being a kid and reading about the witch trials which (somehow) lead me through studying the earlier European Inquisition, and to the Templar and Cathar trials. What they all have in common is the struggle of regular people trying to lay claim to both worldy and transcendent knowledge, and being punished for it by those who have believed that knowledge should be reserved only for a few elite. Its a wonderful time to be alive that these people are free to seek wisdom and practice in their own way.(While doing no harm to others!)

I LOVE Salem. The whole town is so magical and I loved learning the history and learning that I have ancestors who were hanged in the trials. It was fun learning more about these witches beliefs.

I've gone to Salem in 2018 and honestly, it was so cool. I loved all the shops, the water was pretty, and I loved the look of it. I wasn't as big into witchcraft back then as I am now and even then I wanted to move there and even more so now

This was so interesting! I'm a Christian witch so I resonated with a lot of the things in this video while also believing the literal opposite of some of it. That's what's so amazing about witchcraft, we have so many different and diverging paths but we all live the craft
