I have a lot of complaints about "Smack Town."
Firstly, the map feels as if they just were in a rush to make a special ops mission, ran out of ideas, and came up with this. This complaint isn't about the objective. It's about the spam of enemies (sure, the spawns are scripted), and how a bunch of them appear where you just were, or where you already cleared out a bunch of the NPCs.
Second, having to go through the two minute helicopter section every time I failed was a huge pain in the ass, and made me very impatient. It was the least difficult part, but dealing with the helicopter pilot going slower than a grandma really made it less enjoyable.
Thirdly, with all the enemies spawning (similar to the first complaint), I had to deal with taking a bunch of damage from a bunch of different sections of the map. You can even tell in my run how I constantly was being shot at from places I had no idea. Everyone knows about CoD's imfamous aimpunch, so constantly having my screen bounce ten thousand feet up made me very, VERY annoyed. I'll add this complaint to number 3, but one of the biggest things was constantly dying when I wasn't even red. Not even sure as to why this is a problem only on this mission, but I would get shot two, maybe three times, and die. No pre-low HP warning, where my screen is super red. Just a huge MISSION FAILED on my screen.
I ended up working on this mission for probably two hours, and during my recording time, I definitely have a bunch of clips of me raging. Before this mission, I was having a lot of fun playing this little series, but then at this point, I just wanted to get it done. And funny enough, I completed the last solo mission of tier 4 on the first try.
Sidenote: "Server Crash" had one section at the start which made me really mad too. The turret-guy who drives down the bridge behind you after you drive onto the road INSTANTLY will shoot at you and not miss. There is no way to avoid this without the sheer luck of your bullets hitting first, or else you have to hope through all the stupid aimpunch that a couple bullets strike the fucker in the face. I died probably 20 times from him, because you can't noob-tube him. He's too close.
Anyways, thanks to everyone for watching these videos. I'm really surprised they got so many views SO fast. Not sure if it's cuz people saw these videos in their recommended after watching my MW2 Spec Ops missions, but I'm really grateful. Much love!
Yeah "Smack Town" is The most or at least one of the most annoying spec ops missions ever. That heliride at start is just outrageously problematic. They must have done something with player health in script during that section.

You dying without a red screen is a glitch that happens when in veteran and the damage is much faster then the red screen meaning sometimes you die when it looks like you shouldn’t have

Man, this last tier was such a pain, took a very long time to get ‘em all done, especially Smack Town, the beginnings of the first two missions were always the most frustrating, but I eventually got all the stars, even for some DLC, I really enjoyed watching you play these, you’re an expert and it’s a blast watching you get all of the stars for 2 and 3.

Got this game 2 weeks ago on Steam, just as I remember it, I loved Special Ops, I could never do then on Veteran back then, now I'm playing a few on Veteran, but I don't feel really confident that I can complete all of them of Veteran.
Also, there is literally no one to play with online, so I can't play Firewall or Fire Mission.
Nonetheless, still a great game, 9 years later.

Will you do dlc missions?
I would like to, but I'm not gonna spend another $60 on the game to get all of the extra DLC's on PC just for the Spec Ops missions.

There's 4 DLC $14.99 a piece. $59.96, or $60.
I know its been a while but only dlc 1, 2 and 3 have spec ops in them
