We all have to admit it. We weren't ready for power of the saber blade. We thought Tempo Katana was going to be the ultimate challenge, but power of the Saber Blade is at a whole new level.
Imo tempo katana is the 2nd hardest song in the game. And that is frightening
Okay am I just in the minority here, cause everywhere I go people say saber blade is harder. And I really just can't see it. It feels so much easier to play imo.

tempo katana is more techy so if you’re more experienced you’d prob beat power of the saber blade first
but power of the saber blade is just a stamina map so if you could do pretty well on like xronier then power of the saber blade is nothing
but let’s be honest very few players have the stamina which is why most ppl think power of the saber blade is harder

@@RayOLightI honestly feel that Final Boss Chan is harder; Tempo Katana just has a bunch of tech that’s hard to sight read.
This is why Beat Saber didn’t add Through The Fire and The Flames. We weren’t ready for Power Of The Saber Blade

This song is so brutally difficult that the expert chart feels like what we usually get for Expert+. Absolutely insane how hard they went on this pack, and can’t wait to work at attempting to beat this for the next 3 years lmao

I have to say, they REALLY outdid themselves with this environment. Noticed it playing normally but once I stepped back and watched it in zen mode... just wow. The patterns and effects they can create with those new light cube things is incredible

@@nateforlawWell given that Beat Saber hasn’t really held back on difficulty with their OSTs since OST 3, it’s more likely they will probably try to test the human limit further in the future.

Heavy weight is both calming and irritating to play
Just got a MQ3 a couple weeks ago as my first entry into the VR world. Had played Beat Saber at friends places over the years, but never had my own dedicated VR headset to put large amounts of time into. Heavy Weight (and Lift Off) are by far my two favorite tracks that came with the game.
This OST is great lol. Not only was Camellia cooking (as always) but DragonForce were in it too???? All the songs are great and the mapping was really nice I loved it. The environment looks insane as well.

pffftt my thoughts as well when I saw the damn thing. Camellia has some "slow" area to let players perform pseudo resting, Dragonforce went NO RESTING until you get past the solo

power of the saber blade is honestly such a crazy step up from final boss chan, its crazy that anyone can even pass it. also first
Sands VR already uploaded them doing a full combo 2 hours after the pack came out
I can pass it in expert but expert plus is a big no for me. 🥲
You can tell they had a lot of fun with pointing the middle finger at the community with that one.
From the Final Boss Chan note spam section in the middle, to the bomb reset at the end to screw all the sweats looking to FC it.
Also Tempo Katana is actually easier than Final Boss Chan in my opinion.

Saber blade is now the „final boss Chan“, but fr, 10 notes per second is insane, i could barely finish the first 20 seconds with c rank, after 30 it’s game over
nps is just how consistent map it is so it means almost nothing

Is it too late for them to introduce expert++ difficulty for certain songs? I feel like with tempo katana's tech and power of the saber blade being power of the saber blade i think its a large enough jump from expert to warrant that. Tempo katana might be a little subjective when it comes to that but we could probably all agree that it could be expert++.
Maybe it could be 1 expert++ song per-ost.

To be honest: I can't even beat it on Expert. You've cleared it on Expert+.
I've cleared custom maps mostly on 7* difficulty. Some on 8* and only very few on 9*.
This is my limit for months and months. I would be glad, to be on a skill level from people like you. So, a big thumbs up!

I think that there needs to be like an expert++ where these kinda songs lie, I can mostly FC most e+ levels but damn these are just on another level.
I feel like my controllers are just too heavy for this kind of speed map but maybe I just need to get better ahah (the rift S controllers in my case), but I also don't know what the community uses the most, I started playing a few months ago and dipped into community/modded maps but nothing really above 6/6.5 nps
