The singer hopped on Instagram live on Wednesday, and answered a question from a fan about all the stars in the audience, like Swift and Kelsea Ballerini, who were rocking out to her performance at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Being Taylors age, seeing her sing give your heart a break filled my 20 years old heart. As a woman back then, I got so much hate from men listening to Demis first non Disney album which that song was on. I love all the music she has done since and being a swiftie makes this moment complete for me!!!
Technically Unbroken is still a Disney Album, as she released it with Hollywood Records, Disney's recording studio. Her actual first non Disney Album was Tell me you love me, Demi stayed signed musically with Disney until 2015. But I guess it was the first adult album in a way and I listened to it a lot even if my mom thought Demi screamed too much.

I hoped these two would become friends again. I would not be surprised if said mutual friend had caused some of the conflict as has been exposed more during the past year. Not that I am hugely invested in celebrity lives, but Demi is so vocally talented, and Taylor's have improved so much- and she knows exactly how to put on a show and her songwriting and performances from Folklore and Evermore were a revelation. I wonder if they would ever collaborate on a rock song. Demi's last album was a bit more punk and extra loud for my taste but toned down a little...like the vma performance. If I remember correctly didn't Taylor perform a few songs from 1989, in a rock style? And looking fantastic in that black leatherette body suit. I think it would work.
