Nice job! Thanks for the idea. I believe there's a factory backup wire already in the back that could be installed o your lights. It would turn on the lights automatically when u are in reverse.
Probably the best video I have seen on a sano light kit just wish you didn’t have to add the extension as I’m illiterate regarding electric stuff.Thanks
Yeah Rigid does offer a wiring harness but I wanted one that came with the rocker switch. You might be able to find one longer.
I like the install for a different option my 23 Polaris SP 570 mid-size I cannot find a factory power outlet for reverse do you have any advice

More elegant would have been to have wired a switch that was triggered by moving the handle to reverse. Then the lights would come on anytime in reverse day or night letting those behind you that you were reversing. Really not that difficult. Also a light on top of the cab shining back would also have lit up the bed and provided more spread, need floods not spots for reversing.

Just fyi for back up lights, Polaris has a plug in the back that’s prewired for back up lights pretty sure all rangers have that.
I know the xp 1000 and 1000 has them but I could not find one on my 570 SP.
There isn’t one on the 570
I can vouch for my 2023 Ranger 570 SP NOT having that "plug and play" system for the reverse lights. Anything you do you'll need to johnny rig it (easy enough though).
@@SmokinLoon5150 I want the factory wheel-well guards the 23’s come with. 22 doesn’t have it but the bolt holes are there for it.

I really don’t see the need for that, don’t do a lot of reversing at night
Plowing snow in Northeast Ohio mainly. Very nice when backing up at night.
Love the video, but I really try not to back up at night. Got to keep moving forward or the demons will catch you
