^^ This is so true. I hate it when I see new freshman with big dreams, throwing away their freshman year. Transcript usually have freshman-senior years on it. So put your best efforts into all years of high school because trust me, they look at it.
As a now freshman in college, I've had so many friends who get declined from their dream college because they didn't have the GPA because of how they were in their first two years of High school. So please do your best in all years.

I’m an incoming college student, and Nicole’s advices are actually helpful to me. I’ve experienced everything what Colie had gone through and it’s pretty normal in her age to experience things, but what amazes me is how she handles it maturely. Love the mindset !

am a junior in high school rn and I can agree that high school can be stressful I had a issue with my mental health too but I tried figure out a routine for myself that will make me feel happy and what I do is when I get off school I take about an hour or 2 to do things that make me happy and for me that is watching kdramas and kpop groups that I like or I'll just listen to a Playlist or even take a nap

I love how nicole is soooo positive, and she basically has the best advice. She like has a lot of advice that helps me through out the years and like she's always so happy and very down to earth. What I mean by that is that colie is like talking about problems that actually happen and gives advice and like what to do in those situations. So yeah, Thanks Colie!!!

Everyone’s nervous at first because it’s a new environment. You’ll get comfortable over time though (I’m a senior so I get it lol) If your school is able to do a roster or class arrangement/change the first week or two after school starts, I encourage you to experience the class the first couple days and if you do not like it, ask for a change in class or classes. Do not force yourself to take classes you do not like. Of course you’ll still need to take the 4 main courses all four years so don’t think that that is an option to opt out of. I hope this helps and good luck on freshman year! :)

tomorrow is my 3rd day of 8th grade and this advice was super useful! I feel like a lot of people don’t mention how students tend to talk weird things and really get kids uncomfortable. whether it’s adult things, inappropriate things, destroying property, doing bad things, and checking kids out.

since today was my second day we didn’t really do anything in PE they just took us to the MPR to talk about how we were going to use our PE lockers and everything and I sat right next to my friend and they were four boys behind us. they were being really nasty and they said “well today we’re going to get to look at some 🍑”. I got uncomfortable and I couldn’t help myself and I turned around I made a weird face and I turned back around. i’d say that I know a little bit too much that I’m supposed to know and it’s because kids no matter whether you wanna hear it or not they’ll make sure you know things you really don’t want to know. it’s super annoying seeing how these “popular kids/baddies?” Think they can control everyone and say whatever they want without consent or not feeling guilty about it and they can just blurt out whatever. just know that you have to be yourself and not be there to please anyone. i used to be the kid in elementary school that always wanted to be around the popular kids and would dress differently and also act different and honestly that was not being myself. my friends would never talk about the things they talk about now which is why today I decided to just walk away from them I went with my friends who don’t talk about doing things in bathrooms and stuff like that. remember you have to be yourself and not please anyone and that if anyone ever makes you uncomfortable to just walk away and don’t say anything because those type of kids will try to get something against you! just be yourself! i love you all! ❤️

as a junior in high school lmfao one of the biggest things that helped me not feel insecure and scared was the realization that if i personally don’t give any thought to how someone looks or the smallest things, other people are the same way. everyone is so focused on themselves and could care less about you. also try to find some people who smile easily and who might not already be in a group that you could go up to and talk with. the person that you sit next to-try to find something u have in common. hope it helped and honestly don’t worry about coming into high school, it flies by and you will make many friends in time! just be nice and helpful and positive and it will be as good an experience as you make it :)
