What's going on my friends?!? SeanPierceJohnson here and welcome to another episode of Stompbox EVERYDAY...aka the spinoff show. Don't most show with spin offs start sucking???
Anyway, we're here to talk about a Second Coming. No, not THAT second coming...I'm talking about the release of Walrus Audio's newest pedal: the Monument V2 Harmonic Tremolo.
So what's the big deal? Well, for one it's EVERYTHING you loved about the original Monument tremolo pedal in a smaller, more pedalboard friendly enclosure. Add to it of a more finely tuned range of the tremolo Rate, momentary effects and increased expression pedal capabilities and you're left with one SERIOUSLY useful and great sounding tremolo!
So yeah...that's that! It's awesome and I hope you enjoy this demo.
Find out more about it and order yours at www.WalrusAudio.com

Great demo my friend!! Really enjoyed both the pedal and your playing!! Cheers!!
Much appreciated Ben! Have a good one
Your riffs are off the charts man!! I can't wait for some more C.E.O!!
Good level of depth in the review. One of the best out there.
Thank you!
Hell yes pal, you make me need effects I didn't need before watching this video!!!
Hahaha...I guess I can say my job is done??? I dunno...but thanks so much for tuning in Riley!
Great review. Thanks.
Thanks David! Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great week
I think you’re the coolest. Great demo.
Wow, thanks!
Best demo!
Stephan Bijl thanks buddy! Really appreciate that. Hope you’ll come back for more and subscribe 👍
Awesome demo.
Oh man, I have like 3 Trems already, two of them do Harmonic (Source Audio Vertigo & Fender Tre Verb both have nice harmonic trems), but I want this one soooooo bad. I really, really want this and the ARP-87 Delay. The GAS is kicking in, help! Help me SPJ, you're my only hope!
Nice demo Sir.
Thanks! glad you enjoyed. please come back for more
I'd say the biggest improvement over v1 is the ability to control depth with an expression pedal
kent franklin certainly a good feature to have
I need to “nod” more when I play riffs....
veerchasm1 it’s a good way to keep in time while playing.
Very good review. I have a challenge with the volume of the pedal. If it is around the triangle (gets worse going higher) I start hearing the engine going as a background. Any suggestion?
Solidly no suggestions as I haven’t experienced what you’ve described. I always found it to be very compatible with me setup.
Something to always be mindful of is what you’re running before, after and alongside your effects. Some pedals will react strangely if paired with others whether that’s because of gain staging or power.
Best basic trouble shooting I can give is to start with the Monument by itself and add effects until you hear the issue.
@@SeanPierceJohnson Awesome feedback. It seems to much gain/volume before it. Thanks. BTW What can of music/songs do you use it the most?
Could the V1 also do the feature where it speeds up the rate if you hold down the bypass switch? Or is that only a V2 thing
I don’t remember it being able to do it. I’ll have to plug it in and check it out
Good morning, is Tap and Rate control the same? Can the tempo be adjusted with the Rate button? Or it is necessary to set the tempo with the Tap button and then adjust the desired speed
hey there Braulio,
the Rate knob and Tap Tempo control the same thing: the speed of the Tremolo effect. if you use the Rate knob, the tap tempo setting is defeated and if you use the Tap Tempo the Rate knob is defeated.
@@SeanPierceJohnson Thank you very much now I understand everything thank you very much 😁🙌
V1 or V2? What's the big difference from harmonic mode to standard?
Laudir Junior Standard tremolois a volume modulation, constantly raising and lowering volume. Harmonic tremolo is a tremolo effect that does basically the same thing except it moves throughout a set frequency spectrum, producing something more along the lines of a univibe effect.
As for what the difference between V1 and V2s sounds are I can’t say...I haven’t played both of them side by side.
Great!!! Thank you very much!!!
does it get to 0 volume with the depth at max?
Francisco Neves V1 did. So V2 must. Though I haven’t played it in a while
Is this all analog audio, but controlled digitally, or is it a digital pedal?
as far as i know it's analog.
but does it sound good to you ears? if yes, then it doesn't matter if it's analog or digital.
