GUYS, HEAR ME OUT, I HAVE A THEORY!
I think the reason for Miss Bloomie going insane is that she's probably an animal lover so she could've gotten rabies by getting bitten by a dog, but again, I'm not a doctor and I dunno how long rabies last but hers ended after she killed Claire, not before nor in the middle of killing.
She also seemed to have her head hurt and after she killed Claire, she didn't remember what happened and remembered when she looked at the corpse.
We don't know much yet about why is she getting those "episodes" (stranger things reference hhahah)
So the main theory, Miss Bloomie has got bitten and started getting those episodes where she becomes agressive and as a result kills a person which turns her back to normal.
Btw, take time for the second episode cuz shool is important too!
