It’s very sad but abandoning a loving wife of 11 years to chase a romance scam will never workout well. In this case, either life insurance or organ sale.
It would be interesting to know if the new wife ever reached out to his family further/or to law enforcement in the US. Where is she and what does she know?

I’m going to give everyone man and women who lives in the United States some sage advice about traveling to any part of Mexico. Do not travel for any reason to Mexico. The cartel have a strong control in every region of Mexico. There are numerous countries you can travel safely and not be the next victim.
I strongly disagree with you. The cartels in Mexico do business with each other in the drug and gun trade. There are millions of tourists in this country and just as many foreign nationals living in Mexico including myself. If a visitor, tourist or resident behaves themselves here, there will be no troubles. I see young people partying here from different parts of the world who want to get high and sometimes they meet dangerous people in that pursuit. Just like they would if they did this in their country of origin. The cartels could care less about law abiding citizens as these people do not represent their business base. When something bad happens here the media blows it out of proportion. The US has far more problems with drugs and guns than we do here due to their population being more than twice of ours.

I met all the people he introduced me to over Facetime. It was a risk, but I took my time and set clear boundaries which my husband respected.
Yep, it’s such the norm for people to online date nowadays that they’re so careless. They forget that they’re meeting a literal stranger. You definitely need to take your time with this kind of dating.
I’ve been single for a long time and people ask why. The culture of dating and developing intimate partnerships has changed so much that navigating the landscape is difficult because there’s so much predatory behavior within it. Not to mention the constant changing of definitions of it. It’s so exhausting and with romance scamming being a full time hustle and me falling victim to it once from someone I had known for 13 years…yeah it’s not enough to be educated or have critical thinking skills any more. It’s genuinely hard to discern with so many people misrepresenting themselves with malignant intent.
Exactly the more people who reject online "dating" the better. Better to go back to meeting people through family or friends. Hope Humanity puts these "dating" apps out of business.
People judging this man without even knowing the full story is beyond me. I just think it's never a good idea to trust anyone from ANY country when you don't know enough about them. Also spending the adequate time to get to know them in person. Even so you really never know a person 100 percent to be honest.
People who do these type of things are usually very hurt within their own souls. Loveless marriage, mid life regret, and strong desire to tear all of the pillars in their life down. Just to start over. It usually does not end well. From my personal experience, it is nearly impossible find love with a woman from a 3rd world country that you have met online. They are only about one thing. I had an ex girlfriend gave her entire life savings to some scammer online. They are people in this world who do not care who they destroy. It is a sad world. Please find happiness with yourself even if it is not with another person.
This is why you need to teach your children CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS! Every step he took was an obviously illogical one yet he did it anyway. It’s not the internet that’s the problem. It’s the lack of critical thinking, situational awareness, and basic ‘stranger danger’ rules. Come on, people! How do you not see it?! How?! 🤦🏾♀️ Leaving your wife, closing your business, moving to a foreign country known for violence….do you hear it?! This is one of the most neon sign cautionary deaths I’ve heard in a while and I hope people take heed. It is your responsibility to ask questions and think deeper than the fantasy on the internet. You can’t always blame an inanimate thing like the internet, especially as a full grown adult. Please, think deeper than the surface.🙏🏽
You can tell that his mom didn't raise him to think critically. She sounds like a naive child, probably never taught her son stranger danger also. Mom doesn't seem to be street smart nor worldly, sorry to say but mom sounds like a naive country bumkins. She probably raised her son to be just as ignorant as her where worldly danger is concerned.
@@M_SC Actually critical thinking skills show signs of a healthy mind. These people with high critical thinking skills are less likely to find themselves in dangerous situations and mental crises. Sounds like a similar story that happened to my son's friend. The only difference is "they" took his organs, and the parents begged for information yet, the authorities made them pay before releasing any information and also to release his remains back into their custody. I can not imagine the mental torment and devastation of having to go through something like this!!
That’s what I don’t understand though, why would they do that to an American knowing there will be an investigation, when it’s so much easier for them to do that to a Mexican where the Mexican government couldn’t care less? To me, this sounds more like an insurance scam or something. He married her, so she has a legal right to his money now, even just bank accounts. That seems more likely to me.
@@The.Hawaiian.Kingdomthere’s actually not usually much of an investigation though. It’s up the Mexican authorities. Unless it gets a lot of media attention, and even then Americans are often left having to hire their own independent investigators and that can be very expensive in a foreign country. Typically in Mexico they are quick to simply say ‘accident’ or ‘suicide’ just look up recent deaths in Mexico and you will find a lot of families still looking for answers
@@kavi212 Whether or not America decides to hold an investigation via an autopsy is completely besides the point, Mexico (& all foreign countries) are supposed to preserve the option for America to make that decision (& vice versa), meaning they aren’t ALLOWED to cremate the body of a foreign citizen that dies in their country. And you’re completely wrong, medical examiners frequently call for autopsies of citizens who die in foreign countries, especially so in a case like this where there’s questionable circumstances surrounding the death. And again, it doesn’t matter if Mexico “quickly” rules a death an “accident”, they’re allowed to hold investigations & come to whatever conclusion they want, their findings are irrelevant, THIS is EXACTLY why there’s rules in place about returning bodies, to lessen a foreign countries ability to destroy incriminating evidence. Of course people are still looking for answers, which is why preserving the body is so important, it’s the one opportunity to at least get some answers.

Never let the little head make life choices.

I’m sorry this happened to him but what a chain of foolish actions on his part. Wow, just wow.
He could’ve found a marriage counselor in his own town instead of traveling a thousand miles to Mexico .
So they cremated the body to hide any evidence. What the heck was he doing in that place? It’s sad the family may never know.
what was he doing? trying to find love, that is the whole point of this story
@elizabethheyenga9277 trying to alleviate a midlife crisis by chasing a fantasy. Scammers will tell you anything your heart desires and place few demands - unlike a real person with feelings. Perfect for selfish people.
@@elizabethheyenga9277that part is a lie made up from his family. He already had love
Maybe he made himself disappear to collect a life insurance
Moral of the story is leave people's women alone and fix your own sh*t.
My deepest sympathies to the family.
Too dangerous for Americans to go there, but our stupid government will let thousands of them come here.
WTF?
Harsh as it may sound, the wife he left is better off without him.
As soon as I heard that part all sympathy went out the window but I do feel sad for his mom.
and the kids he left behind, will have to find out he’s a moron some day from this story.
I'm very sorry for everybody's loss. Many men have a mid life crisis but he made some selfish, ridiculous mistakes in his. He abandoned a wife of 11 years, his aging mother and any employees he might have had. Sometimes the most intelligent people do the stupidest things, but they don’t deserve to die for it.
You’re assuming he was in a happy marriage. Plenty of women leave their husbands because they’re not happy.
@@plumeria66 his fuck up was dating this chick before he left his wife. I have no problem with divorce, but he was a dirty fucking cheater and got played for it.
@@plumeria66 …and wasn’t happy about his mother or business, so he did the rational thing and ran off with a stranger.
Many divorce their husbands to hop back on the carousel it's empowering.
I wouldn't call him intelligent, I'd call him pathologically self-absorbed and gullible.
The grass always seems greener on the other side.🤔 Then when you cross over, you realize it's just green paint.
I don't care how much someone told me they loved me. I ain't divorcing my spouse of 11 years, abandoning my children, stopping my business, and moving countries for them. If they loved me that much, they wouldn't want me to do that. Plus, they would move where I was if it was that serious. Dude made bad, selfish decisons, not caring who he hurt along the way. Sounds like Karma came for him. 🤷♀️
Smart.
Well, you shouldn't be dating anyone anyway if you're married. Lol

If you want unconditional love get yourself a dog. It doesn't matter how the relationship he had with his wife was. He risked his life chasing after some internet app pipe dream and lost it due to his own choices.
He apparently did
This and also brought devastation to his family. They’ll never know what happened to him. They’ll never get to bury him. Absolutely terrible.
Lmao men be on the internet convincing other men their happiness is in foreign countries, I don't feel bad at all😂

Genuine question because I only seen mexico in shows/movies but do they even have grass? I thought it was sand, rocks and cactus
@@whitneymcclendon16yes, Mexico has grass. They also have cars too and don’t ride horses everywhere like many people think..

My condolences to his parents & other loved ones. 😢

The dude could have even been having serious untreated mental issues before this started. The best case scenario would have been to get help and either fix the marriage, or to get out of the marriage to work on himself more and find someone else when he was ready.
Kinda hard to feel sorry after you realize how this all started. 11 years? Were you dating or…?
Sadly, I did the same thing... sort of... I did me someone online who was a real person (not a scam)... she was so nice and intelligent I didn't ask a lot of questions... my bad... moved to Mexico and found out legally we were not allowed to get married, which was what probably saved me... we made it about 9 months before things really soured and by that time I was "illegal" and could have been arrested... ended up heading back across the border... that was 23 years ago and it was touchy then... Mexico is not a safe place, especially for a Gringo who doesn't speak the language.
As a mother of sons, I am so sorry for your loss. My oldest son went down to Cabo to a wedding. When they left the airport, on the way to the resort, he said he saw one of the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, and she basically was trying to entice men to "talk" to her I presume. He said he was tempted to talk to her.... and I told him, yeah, you would probably be dead now. Mexico is one place you don't mess with. Even the police are corrupt.
No. No. No Mexico is just another country, like any other country. There are both good and bad people, like everywhere.
@@MsJanetWood Not true! Mexico is a very dangerous country right now & the cartels are running it with the help of police & politician’s. Travel Advisory reports tell Americans not to travel to most parts of Mexico.

As someone who’s traveled through Mexico numerous times. I love the place. But being that I always had to be cautious especially after the police over there tried to snatch me off a bus, when I was just seated in my seat. I’m going to go with Keep your guard up. I wasn’t talking, there was no incident, I wasn’t doing anything, it was a random bus check. I had my paperwork and identification. Luckily the other bus riders held on to me for dear life and didn’t let them take me. It was a 24 hour bus ride and they had liked me. At the time I was 18 but I looked about 14 or 15. No telling what would have happened to me if they got me off that bus.
I don’t know how I’d feel if I was the wife he abandoned for this BS. Equal parts “what a shame” and “he got what he had coming to him”.
Dude divorce his wife for someone he never met thats crazy
“She keeps telling me she loves me.”
“He wanted to be loved ?”
Excuse me wasn’t this man already married? It’s called Karma 🥺..
So many men ruining families over fantasies smh. Regardless, I feel so sorry for his mother and family. May God give his Mercy, guidance, and peace to them.
It’s almost like having a family with this knowledge they frequently do this is stupid or something
It’s very sad but abandoning a loving wife of 11 years to chase a romance scam will never workout well.
ur right, kinda like those scams out in SC, trying to get our latina women to marry those whites.

This romance scam has been around for many years. Surprised that he fell for it. Maybe he had a lot of pressure in his former life and escaping everything seemed like a great idea.
How do you know his wife was loving?
@@j.daniels1548 Oh well... Doesn't matter now does it? That ex wife sure didn't unalive him in those 11 years. Homie played himself.
How can anyone believe that a person you've never actually met LOVES you? I do not understand why anybody would fall for this.
11 Years together don’t imply actual love. Lots of people are co dependent and to afraid of being alone.
So ? Doesn’t justify his cheating and leaving the kids. Got his karma
So no love means you will cheat or leave ? Those vows under God mean nothing ? Wild
You changed your family with kids and 11 years of being married and even sold the house and closed business just to follow a fantasy?
I hope the family you left behind is protected financially…😮
Yes, he gave up his children’s future, stability, marriage to follow a fantasy. Left them with nothing.

Online dating isn’t most often a scam as fear mongers will have you believe, people do meet and marry legit people on those sites. That being said, you *do* need to use your brain and exercise serious caution. This goes for *any* place full of strangers.
@@richerDiLeftoand definitely don’t cheat on your spouse assuming a foreign person you have no history with is gonna “love” you. he was way too old 👴🏻 to be that delusional. hope his wife and kids will recover from his childish reckless behavior… 😭
People who feel inadequate without a partner need to learn first how to love themselves. Make a list of everything you want in a partner and then give it to yourself. I promise by the time you complete the list you will no longer be looking for someone else to love you. I used to think the same thing. I needed someone else to love me. It’s taken a lot of hard work to get to where I am today and I’m 43. I spent my whole life in extremely verbal and physical abusive relationships. The last one left me defeated. Today though I am a strong person and have actually found my voice. We all deserve to love ourselves first. ❤️❤️
Thanks for talking about the woman who called his mother, claiming to be his wife and saying he died. That was an important part of the story and it would've been crazy to gloss over something like that...
@@kavi212 I believe it!
divorced his wife for another woman? well that,s where the curse started
