Congratulations on getting your C8.
There are 3 items IMO that most owners should add when building the car or can be purchased through the parts department if available. IMO, get the Chevrolet OEM Parts
Tow Hook: better to give the Tow Truck Driver a place to hook up vs hooking up to a place that could cause serious damage
Battery Package: if not a daily driver, it’s best IMO to have the battery being kept at a good power level
Liner Protection Package: keep your Frunk & Trunk areas protected as well as using the all weather floor mats
I think you can still get these items for around a total of $600
FYI IMO you might lose your OEM Black Exhaust Tips unless they can be taken off, but I don’t think that’s possible
Enjoy the car, I live in South Central PA and feel my Corvette Driving Season runs from Late April (once the stones and anti skid materials come off the roads) until November (once the DOT puts out the gravel and anti skid material on the highways)
I have a 2009 C6 Z51 2LT Corvette with 7,200 miles
I was for once, “That Guy, at the right place, at the right time. I got an allocation by being the first person at one of my local Chevrolet Dealerships, and put a $5,000 deposit down. I was told I’d get their first allocation. That was 7/22/2021. The allocation came through 11/8/2021. Order for my C8 went in 11/11/2021
2/14/2022 my C8 arrived at the dealership.
Red Mist 2022 2LT C8 HTC, Z51, Mag Ride, Front Lift, GT2 Seats, Tow Hook, Liner Protection Package, Battery Protection Package, Carbon Flash Painted Mirrors and Spoiler and the Standard Wheels.
No Carbon Fiber, I’m not a fan and it’s expensive for all you get.
I’m still waiting for my Park Assist Module to come through, it was on constraint, but didn’t hold up the build.
Splash Guards were on constraint, so I had to go to ACS for their Rock Guards. (Great Product, but IMO overpriced for “Mud Flaps” at $528 with tax included)
We both have a beautiful car and it to me is an American Super Car!!!

I did the exact same build except for bright red calipers. I bought aftermarket black wheels. Mine was a '22. Pull the covers off the rear shocks bolts, Mine corroded terribly.

Expecting my 2023 HTC to arrive this week or next. I chose a non Z51 for the same reasons much better all around street tires plus brakes much less expensive to maintain and a lot less brake dust. No need for upgraded differential as this car will never see snow (Memphis TN area)
Has it arrived? I'm in line for mine now, waiting anxiously. Would love to sit in yours to see if I have enough headroom if you don't mind random people looking at your car. I cover a 4 state territory including TN, and am in Memphis every few weeks. Congrats on the car!
@@huskytales9839 let me first say that I am just delighted with the 2023 HTC. It just passed 1000 miles after arriving back in mid August. The engine, transmission, and suspension are all notably smoother then when the car was new. I am 5' 10" and have approximately 3 fat fingers of head room with my LT2 you may see less with the LT3. I find the seat at its rear most position comfortable since I prefer a more laid back driving position. The bigger issue is with the limited clearance between the front edge of the seat and the door panel when swinging your legs in and out of the car, I have to lift up each leg pretty high to clear the door panel even with the door all the way open. Good luck with yours I am very happy with mine even considering the sacrifices made to get that mid engine design

I did 20% on the sides.
That’s very close to the build I want and exact colors. But c’mon man with the seatbelt pads. That makes it look cheesy.
Me too very hesitate to get the 2LT Because only HuD is valuable to me

I'll never forgive chevy for bailing on the round taillights, but then again nothing about the new ones look like a corvette, nice supercar not corvette like though

@@ChevyCLE you have any trans issues, customer of mine just bought one, had whiny sound, they put microphones on it and said it's just a bad trans , he's getting a new one put in now, only 800 grandma break in miles on her, but was makin that sound from new
