    Their dancing is so much more mature now -- like she said, you can really tell that they're dancing for themselves, because they enjoy it. It's incredibly alluring.

    No contest. There’s much more sensuality, sweetness, smoothness, chemistry in one VM’s single nail than in all the other skaters as a whole. And this is one of many things that makes them the GOAT

    Tessa and Scott get much better with age, stronger especially on the technical side.

    Tessa and Scott please viewers. It has to do with physical beauty, artistic skills, technical precision and selection of repertoire, musical scores and transitioning that builds interest and momentum. They are very smooth but edgy. Their sensual movements bounce off each other to create this harmony and excitement that holds our admiration like no other skating couple.

    This always happens in figure skating. You have two competitors, and when they compete in different competitions it's impossibble to separate them. And then put them in the same rink, and the differences are so visible (e.g. Mao and Yuna, Yuzuru and Javier etc). I think what NHK highlighted was that P/C are seriously deficient in the SD compared to V/M, but obviously much better than other pairs, and that the FD is much closer between the two pairs (albeit that P/C messed it up a bit here). But the SD is a very interesting case: V/M seem so comfortable doing different styles, whereas P/C seem quite uncomfortable in their SD. It might be a good opportunity for the French to clarify their game plan for the Olympics and try to work the system to pick routines that fulfil the dance requirements but which are also in their wheelhouse, because they're up against ice dancers who seem to be comfortable in just about any style! Will make for a very interesting OG, super excited!

    As a diehard fan of D/W, I never thought I would say this- but I'm happy to see these two return. They worked on all the right things to come back stronger than they were at Sochi. Both appear to have more stamina now; Scott seems to have more core strength. They figured out how to feature their closed hold rather than being ruled by it. If they are pointing toward the 2018 Olympics, I wish them continued strength and safety as they go.
    Well done and welcome back Tessa and Scott.

    Какие они классные. Как же на них хочется смотреть потому что они живые на льду не зацыклены ни на чем а просто вышли на лед порезвиться в кайф и это видно по их мимике лица. Они и разговаривают и поют наслаждаясь песней и полностью отдаваясь музыке и смеясь и огорчаясь и торжествуя и поддразнивая. Что за прелесть наблюдать за их чувствами в замедленной съемке когда они испытывают такой драйв от катания и друг друга. Любим и смотрим все время на повторе.

      @aracelichely2954 Před 7 lety +2

      +Justin Sabourin They were overscored here, I see you don't like the truth (or others opinions that are different from yours) but thats not my problem. I don't have anything agains them, I just like fair judgment thats all.

    • @LinaK786
      @LinaK786 Před 7 lety +19

      Would you agree that everybody was overscored? Cause, for example, Papadakis/Cizeron got level 4 for their twizzles with a mistake. It wouldn't be fair if Virtue/Moir got lower level for the same kind of mistake.
      As for WR, does anybody really care? There are not runners or swimmers.

    • @aracelichely2954
      @aracelichely2954 Před 7 lety +1

      +Lina K Was that mistake noticiable? because I didnt see such mistake (and when I ask people have trouble pointing it out) but I saw those mistakes from V/M very easily without replay. World records means also status and people is right to complain when they don't understand how skaters are rewarded with such high scores without a real explanation.

    Oh, I finally caught what Scott said at the end. He looked a little surprised when the scores came up and asked, “Did G and G (Gabby and Guillaume) make some mistakes?”
    I’m not surprised he’s surprised. I remember from an interview after the season ended where Scott and Tessa said that P/C didn’t make mistakes during practices at home. And I know from PyeongChang, that Tessa and Scott sometimes try not to listen to their competitors score. They often talk about staying in a bubble.

    Grande impadronimento del proscenio ghiacciato direi imperativo in accelerazione fluente e con balletto che sembra sempre in ensemble anche quando é sciolto perché attuato a specchio.Eccezzionale quello che con un mio neologismo mi piace chiamare convolo aereo ed elanista della ballerina ottimamente indotto e tenuto dal partner con bilico di difficoltà massima ed eseguito con una non chalance esecutiva d'acchito sorprendente.Ottime le posture figurali ed il loro mantenimento in piena esecutività motile. Ottimo il senso del continuum dato alla performance sul ghiaccio dai due pattinatori.Superlativi. Bighin Giulio Renzo. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

      And guess what !? P/C skate together since the age of 12/13. I'm french so I support P/C but If you watched France's GP 2 weeks ago they skatedway better than yesterday. I don't know why but they seemed somewhere else on this NHK GP. I love V/M SD but for the FD i'm going for P/C:

      Bojana Kocijan the french team was under the pressure, look at virtue and moir. They have a gold and two silver at olympics and two gold, three silver at worlds. They are skating perfectly and both tessa and Scott have equal rights in this success, both of them are stunning. And at every different music they are skating different. They try different style. on the other hand the french team has the same long program in three years (2015, 2016 and now ) .only music is different. actually the musics are also close .of course they deserved 2015 and 2016 Crown at Thé lack of virtue and moir but at 2016 nhk trophy every result was fair to me. And virtue moir are going to take their first gpf gold. remember davis and white always won the gpf golds.

      VM still beat their score here and at Trophee de France. Also, Tessa and Scott met at 6 and 8 and started skating together at 7 and 9. They have been skating together for basically 20 years. P/C got nothing on that. Even if they were 12/13. Just saying.
