    So far they are losing on two counts...1.publicity is actually growing his support because of it. 2. They are failing at real convictions....

      They are also failing to prevent him from being in the news. Whereas if he was on the campaign trail the news wouldnt even cover it, instead the news chooses to cover the trial wall-to-wall. Basically free press/campaigning/coverage.

      @@ericciaramella1984 I think the racketeering campaign finance and falsifying business records charges are state level and each could result in prison time but he is also facing potential prison time from federal charges of obstruction mishandling documents and election interference

      @@warrenkener you mean the one that's on appeal to kick the da off the case entirely which would crumble it completely and the other one where there's an "underlying felony" that Bragg has never defined as to what it is. Considering that all the evidence points to a simple misdemeanor account charge. There's no there there.

      @@ericciaramella1984 I also think it's very unlikely he will have been denied bail and forced into pretrial detention (jail) but if any of his sentences are short enough if he's convicted he could serve them in jail instead of prison if the judge wants

    The facts of the case are that he cooked his books, the trying hide the payments and listen to them as legal fees.You're not allowed to lie in your accounting. It's called tax fraud.

      He paid to suppress info that could effect he's campaign for president and falsified business records to protect the money trial as to appear as retainer fees to Michael Cohen. In addition he broke campaign finance laws because any
      loan made to a candidate is considered a campaign contribution, $27k is allowed per individual not $130k which is what MC paid Stormy from he's home equity loan to hush her up.
