Yes do it! Mine is super chill and I only do it when I feel like it, plus it's limited writing (like no long passages for the most part) so it's much less painful/time consuming
Love that quote about being fearless by Taylor Swift. I like your idea of a monthly playlist. I always do a year-end summary and when I get to the question abut music I have a hard time remembering which songs were actually released that year or songs release before the current year. Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks! It's super chill compared to like bullet journalling, but it made me much more conscious of my life this past year. I feel so much more attentive and participatory!

jennaclarek the idea of being able to remember all of the important moments of a year in my life and being able to look back at it and feel how i felt back then touched me so much especially bc im often sad i dont exactly remember all the great and depressing times. and in particular the variety of you expressing your experiences throughout the idea impressed me so much!!
Yeah one of my friends described it as a scrapbook and I love to think of it that way too! But not as official and planned out as a scrapbook and more of just scraps of crap put in a book xD

For this one I have some cheap Crayola brush pens or else I just use normal pens and I do fake calligraphy
But now I have Tombow pens!

Hello! I am sorry to be a bother, but I was wondering.. what keeps you motivated and inspired to continue journaling? I personally love writing, journaling, etc. but some days, I lack the motivation and energy to do so. I want to journal everyday, but I fail to do so because my anxiety drowns me. I'm so anxious that my handwriting won't be good enough, my journal won't be "perfect", the things I put in and write aren't good enough, etc.

I like hard cover personally, but I've owned soft cover ones for like bullet journalling and those aren't bad! I just think the hard cover lasts longer for the type of journalling I do. Also I don't think the soft covers lay flat by themselves unfortunately.
