My theory for Adam's behavior is that he literally never grew up. He was created as a full grown man so emotionally is stunted as he has never had many foundational milestones or lessons.

@@K33L4N-B3Y Eh... Hazbin is just ok by the end of it all. It tries too hard to have it's cake and eat it too. Take angel dust, a character who's (and this isnt a spoiler) story involves SA. The show does a good job at portraying it, but at the same time it has Angel dust SH other characters and plays it off as a joke.
Or even take the music in Hazbin vs S1 of Helluva Boss. In the latter certain characters will sing because it is in character for them to do as such, where as in Hazbin every character just sings even if it is out of character for them to do so, simply because it is trying to be a musical, it breaks the character for the genre.
while I'm personally not an angel dust fan, I've been seeing a LOT of SA survivors getting attached to him. for some people, being hypersexual is a response to that trauma, and you don't see that being portrayed in media because it'd seem paradoxical for the people that haven't experienced it. so I wouldn't say that's a fair critique @@darryljack6612

Genesis 1 and 2 are different poems from different but related sources, it’s why they disagree in the order of creation and various other details. This is a theory, but it's almost like every facet of this character is meant to make him feel unstable, unpredictable, and uncomfortable. He's known for playing Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde, Shakespeare in Something Rotten and Prince Herbert in Spamalot to name just a few. He's a fantastic performer if a little unhinged sometimes 😂
