Do you have to install the usb key in the projector every time you want to use this feature or is there a one time install? This is important for those who will mount the projector on the ceiling.

Wow.. I'm sure lots of 'em are going to loose the usb key particularly with many offices having kleptos.. tie it to the unit with a long retracting reel of leash with a dock and you dont have to run around for one :)
The video here is showing demo with 1 laptop, I would like to see the steps for the connection with a second laptop. It might sound stupid but in my case if i want to buy this model, I am going to mount it on the ceiling. The question to ask, do I have to connect the usb device to the projector in between the switch of 2 laptops or just once per day? or once per life time? (I am concerned on the time and trouble to go up and connect the USB to the projector on every use. It will be very Inconvenient)

just your pc setup with lan connection for internet and wifi can use wireless display
Thank you for your response but then it's not really a wireless connection if I have lan cable and power cable connected to the PC.
I recommend to use microsoft wireless adapter it's much better and no need to install anything and it works find with Epson projectors

The Epson ELPAP10 is compatible with Mac and Win. The Epson ELPAP09 is only for Windows.

The connector on your computer is called USB type-A (it's the flat looking USB connector). The Epson device looks like a flash drive with an LED light on the end. The Epson device name is "Quick Wireless Connection USB Key" model ELPAP09.

+Louis Grimm this is exactly my point. proprietary and requires you to use their dongle. why not make it compatible with others. you pay out enough for a system. better yet make it network enabled by default with built in wifi or network port. I feel like we have gone back in time unfortunately.

Ok this is the ELPAP09 quick wireless connection USB and it says that it compatible with the epson ProjectorPro EX9200 my questions are does this work with MacBook Pro and would it play videos directly from computer like can I watch Netflix or something else wirelessly?
The Epson Website says the model ELPAP09 (the one used in the video) is "PC only." Get the Epson ELPAP10, it's compatible with Mac and Win. Or, you could run Windows on a Mac using Parallels software. When (Epson ELPAP09 is) used with Windows OS computer, it plays still and video images on the compatible Epson projectors (duplicates the display).

Same for me, just shows folders. I called support and the tech tried to get me to setup wireless through peer-to-peer or company network. I want the USB key to work! I tried to explain to him again and again that this is an EPSON USB quick wireless connection key that I want to work, and he kept circling back to the alternative wireless connections. He had no knowledge of how to support this key.

Uh mine is bolted up on the ceiling in my conference room no one gots a ladder to go up there and plug the usb and plug it back down to there laptop.
Don't y'all just have a WiFi usb that stays on there so anyone can connect to it.....
You could get your maintenance or electrician to install an USB extension cord that runs from the projector to the wall. You'll need a USB type-A extension cord. There are other brands of wireless receivers that stay connected to the projector (with a USB Key/transmitter to plug into a laptop) but you'll need someone with a ladder to install the wireless receiver into the projector. The other brands of wireless receiver & transmitter will work with any brand of projector that has a HDMI or VGA input connection.
I think it's ridiculous that you have to have WiFi to be able to use a projector with today's modern technology. Am I understanding this right you can't use a projector without wifi?
Will sound be transferred though this method? Additionally, can applications on the PC be opened on a White Board using the White Board Pens?

It would be slow for gaming. You would better use a wired HDMI or VGA connection between the computer/laptop and the projector.
This doesn't work. Not easy and if you don't have the driver on your laptop for the usb wireless dongle it won't work. How many business laptops have administrative policies that prevent you from downloading the driver. Sorry Epson try again.
