Always best to price shop an a larger load if you have other yards in the area. Not sure where you're at but in SE Texas we are getting $3.50 for #1 and about $2.40 for brass at some of the better paying yards.

Scrap yard would only give me .30 cents for insulated copper wire. 75 pounds of a medium sized stranded.
To much for the meister I’m thinking of getting e vevor . Only reason I want to get one cuz I got a 350 pound roll I believe is gauge 3 and is almost impossible to strip it with a blade
