    I think your suppose to have the feed holes lower that the feed wheels that helps keep the wire against the wheels and in the middle than it won't go off track.

    Man this is my next purchase im a journeyman electrician and work in the oil field in west texas and boy do me and my crew get a shit tone of scrap wire all the way up to 500 mcm like its crazy how much of it we get i just bought a milwaukee cable cutter this weekend to make it easier to cut the wire in sections instead of using the ratchet klein cable cutter i got

    I just bough one same machine .
    Stripmeister e 1000 got stuck at 1 wire #3/0 machine is a joke.
    Payed to much for it waste of money .

      Read the instructions.
      People generally lower the cutting wheel too low trying to make it even with the spinning wheel. The spinning wheel is designed to shoot the wire upward already so when you make it even it jams the area.
      The dial is a clock. So the dial should always be in the area of the 4o'clock or 10o'clock time frame for cutting
