Hi Hugo, thanks for commenting. Bias was ok after repairs. The tube had lost connection with B+, so a lot of current was pushing from the filaments without a place to go... hence: overheating of the tube and board. At least, that was my conclusion.
I don't believe that the first preamp tube needs to be replaced. It might seems to be slightly microphonic, but every tube makes noise when you tap it and considering that on this amp Fender tried to take the most out of the first tube. After all, they didn't have many stages of amplification... Thanks for the video

having ones shit dangling out will definitely cause oscillation. One must square away ones shit for proper sine wave. :P
