SHES LITERALLY MONICA IN REAL LIFE SHES SO PRETTY
That's why the comic is so terrible ._. she centers everything in the story around a character that's so obviously a self-insert of herself, it's annoying to read and other characters development arcs are lacking
tenacious trees. Why even read it then 🗣 I don't think self-insert characters are bad and are you sure we readin the same webtoon 👁👄👁 because like. Monica is not the center of attention at all

@@tenacioustrees.8737 Monica isn't a main character. There was character development for Dani and Dorian. Dani started out as the cheerful one and Dorian started out as the pessimistic one. But near the time skip you can see their roles have switched a bit. Dorian opened up and Dani saw her worst fear. I can see the similarities between the creator and Monica, but it's not as if the character doesn't contribute to the plot.

I started reading Hooky in 4th grade, It essentially grew up with me. It's gonna be so sad when it ends
I've always wondered if hooky is going to have a Spanish version... I mean, it's her native language so the dialogues would be much more natural and expressive. However, this is ok for me as a fan because I wouldn't mind reading the story again in Spanish, but I'm not sure if it would be profitable and worth her and the staff's time...
Some series are on Webtoon Translate, where Webtoon officially allows international fans to translate. Unfortunately, Hooky is not available on Webtoon Translate as of now.
@@thatnohrianscum6475 Thanks for the info, but that's not my point. Yes I want to read it in Spanish, but not a Spanish version translated from English by a fan. I want to read a version of Hooky written by Miriam in her native language. I want to see how she would deliver the story with a language she's more familiar with.

@@muyou6589 It's in spanish now, which you might know already, but it's in Latin American spanish! Either Miriam wrote it this way because the Latin American audience is bigger, or, more likely, someone else translated it for her :(

She's brilliant!! The artstyle, the storytelling, the characters and and EVERYTHING I just love everything about Hooky so much! It's one of my favorite things in the world and definitely my favorite comic ever, I'm fangirling at every episode and I'm so grateful.

with this WEBTOON coming to an end i gotta get my emotions out, after five years of waiting for hooky episodes and the emotion behind it all, the first episode was so light hearted and it all goes to waste during the future arcs the amount of attachment to the characters was heartbreaking but truly was an amazing story overall, all through this i was there reading all of it, every last but of it, from top to bottom, the amount of effort in this story is amazing and deserves a lot more credit and hype than it already does, i gotta say you make an awesome writer/creator, hope a new story comes soon :")

i just finished hooky and i'm so shook. the art itself is beautiful and the storyline is so intriguing. i literally cried for an hour after the last episode lmao. thank you miriam for taking us on this journey (all though i read the whole webtoon in 2 days!)

Haha Goal achieved Miriam I cried through the whole series off and on but the third book hit different it wasn't just boohoo a few tears it was ugly gremlin smelling onions after a break up crying..... also add in poking your eye with mascara and throw in some lemon juice and you've got what I looked like through the whole 3rd book. (Some of it was happy crying
