Monster feet are good for stomping! Have any further questions about the process? I'd be happy to answer
I know this isn't about the feet but how did you make the feathers on the head?
The feathers are craft foam! I used scissors and a wood engraver to add texture and then painted them :)
Hey Kaz, the old feet for your cosplay are cool, i wonder if your giving it away. (Im just wondering)
So what have you stomped lol
Ok question so when I'm barefoot I walk digitigrade and can't really walk flat footed could something like this be modified more so as to eliminate the heal entirely similarly to how the hoof shoes are done as I've been thinking of doing a Brooklyn costume from gargoyles
At first i wasnt feeling the skin but once you started painting i NEEDED it!
Lol, I felt the same way. Monsters aren't baby pink!
To sew foam on a sewing machine, tear strips of tissue paper to place at the top and bottom of your foam and sew through the paper. The foam layers slide through the machine better and the tissue paper tears away when your seam is done. This is a great video to make pileated woodpecker feet for an old-growth forest mascot that I’m working on. Thanks!
ooo, thanks for the recommendation!
This came at such a perfect time with me working on my dragon costume lol. I'll be taking some inspiration from this! You're awesome, keep up the great work.
Great! Hope it works out for you ^^ thanks!
They came out fantastic! Thanks for the tut
Thank you! And you're welcome!
they came out so Amazing!
Great job! Glad you’re enjoying the Creature Cast!
I LOVE how you did the feet! The black felt is an amazing illusion
Yes to comfort! I love the illusion. It worked out great and your feet will love you for it.
Wooow, these are so cool! I love your Arakkoa so much. Incredible work and thank you so much for sharing what you do and how you do it!
Thank you so much! You're welcome and I will keep sharing ^^
Thanks that you shared this because I'm doing tutorials myself for cosplays and may you and your followers could like them as well ✨
Absolutely FABULOUS
Looks amazing! I’m working on a Halloween costume and things like this are great helps.
These are great and I really loved the detailed explanations as you went along. I'd maybe have gone for another toe at the back of the foot, but that's just me! Thanks :)
Awesome. Thanks so much
Super job i love them
Cool work. Can't wait to see the hands when you work on those
Thank you!
Nicely done :3
Your newest fan just subscribed!
they look fantastic. they fit the artstyle of world of warcraft perfectly.
That is true, it does fit right in with Warcraft ❤️ thank you!
Those are just amazing monster feet!!!! I want to make some werewolf feet for my cosplay of a female Dr Doom as a werewolf!!!!
Wow! Dr doom werewolf sounds awesome! Good luck and glad this video was inspiring!
This is perfect! Im making my dragon costume with my dad already xD And Cool feet!
This is cool! I really like how you did it! This is good for if you need help on how to make monster bird feet! +i love your vids!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)
you inspire me.
Aww, thanks for letting me know ^^
PLEASE show us how you made the feathers and how you "glued" it on the head. 😍 I need it to make Yutyrannus huali Fursuit inspired from ARK...and I really have no idea how I can make feathers on the head bzw on the body like your beautiful creature. 😎👍
Hell yeah
man you should do this as a job make monsters for movies
+oceannavigator The great i would love to!
Are there an alternative to creature cast? The store I use mostly have Smooth-On products
Latex would be the alternative! but it's easy to get creature cast rubber from their website www.creaturecastrubber.com
It looks like they don't ship outside the US :/ I live in Europe
Can I see how you made the original feet paws that were less realistic
I probably won't make a video about it, but it was just fleece over carved foam
Love the feet! Really like the Arakkoa head. Do you have a tutorial for that
I do not, but I want to remake this head. I will do a tutorial at that time :)
These are honestly beautiful, love how you added silicone to the fabric for the texture (I've gotta try that sometime)! :D Could I ask how you made Arakkoa's feathers, as well? They're the most realistic artificial ones I've seen on a costume like this!
Maybe I should do a video about how to make them sometime! But the short answer is that they are made out of craftfoam and I used a wood engraver, scissors and paint to shape them :)
Kazplay Videos Thanks so much for the info, it really helps! And I bet a video on them would be great! :D I never would've guessed they were foam, especially due to all their detailing :o
You should make a tabaxi cosplay!
I am planning on making a khajit in the future, it could be used for a tabaxi :)
@@KazplayVideos cool!
DAMMIT! I missed seeing you at AKon! Maybe if you're at TFF i'll be able to say hi!
Oh darn! and I won't be at TFF this year, bummer!
do you do commissions for just feet for a harpy type cosplay
I am not available for commissions at this time or in the near future. I would make an announcement if that changes
Do you have any tips on foam carving? My weak fingers always get super tired with hours of chopping and cutting, and when I try and use the knife, the foam just squished and doesn’t cut.
Yes I do! Keep your blade sharp! You can get a small sharpening stone or a round kitchen knife sharpener to extend the life of your blades. Or just pull out a fresh blade! And you can see that I didn't need to get the foam perfectly smooth, just the basic shape. Hope that helps!
Thank you!
The feet look absolutely disgusting!!! I Love it!
What’s the fabric that you used? Can I get a link?
I used pink fleece from joann's
I love your vids if u never made vids I wouldn't start my fursuit building
Aww, glad to hear! Keep up the building work, this is such a great hobby!
dude how the hell do those feathers on that character head get cleaned??
Unless someone dumps something on them, I'm not sure why they'd need to be cleaned? Other than store them well so they don't accumulate dust
@@KazplayVideos Thank You! I didn't think you'd respond- the video is old
@@-DumpsterFire I'm a small channel so I can respond to every comment 👍
I'm using this method for a raptor fursuit I'm doing
