I am amazed that an in-depth review like this from a channel that appears to specialise in reviewing products could fail to mention the battery life and charging time, and interestingly this is not the only review of this camera which has failed to do so. This leads me to suspect it is so poor it’s probably unusable, hence it is not mentioned. If it was mentioned, and I missed it, my bad, but I don’t think this is the case. Two things I would like to know are 1. What is the battery life like, and 2. Can it be used while being supplied with power from an external source?
If you think about it.. This is perfect for smooth hand held looking shots.

I would like to buy one of these for my motorcycle trips. To hand over to my wife on the pillion seat, in addition to the GoPro attached to my helmet. I'm just a bit concerned about the magnetic attachment. Having the camera in hand, on top of the motorcycle, at 120 km per hour against the wind, could potentially be an issue?

I already own all previous Feiyu Pocket cameras (1, 2 and 2S) and am a bit sad about following important questions from my side that have not been answered:
1. Dies Feiyu Pocket 3 remote feature Micro HDMI out just like Pocket 2 and 2S?
2. How far can Feiyu Pocket 3 be controlled wirelessly by the remote?
Unfortunately I could not find any reviews on CZcams covering that.
According to the Feiyu specifications comparison sheet, only the 2S has the HDMI output capability. The Pocket 3, unfortunately, does not. The remote and the camera only have USB-C connectors - not Micro HDMI is available on either module.
As for the range for the remote from remote to the camera, we will be providing this information in our not yet released review of the product. However, I am more than happy to give you a sneak peek at what results we achieved (so, you'll have to find our review in return later 😉). The remote to camera connection is highly line-of-sight dependent. I was able to maintain responsive control until between 35-40ft with line-of-sight. If I was even 20ft (6m or so) and turned away from the camera module it would love control and time count updates. I could actually see a delayed preview over 70ft away (20m or so), but had zero control of the unit.
Anyway, hope that helps you with your upgrade decision.
How about waterproof?
Too many parts. I like the DJI design except for the lack of Bluetooth, standard tripod mount and removable battery. A one-piece design that uses standard accessories is of more interest to me.
