Madam, SIRIM (the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) is a Malaysian gvt controlled institute; then, how is this possible that on the Indian demand they don't provide SIRIM Certificate to Pakistan.... we all know that India-Malaysia relations are not as good as that of Pak-Malaysia, which are testified by Mahtir's statement over Kashmir, and in many other such events.... In my opinion, India could not impede SIRIM certification for Pakistan because firstly, India is not largest importer, rather largest exporter. Secondly, their relation status with Malaysia.. Having said all this, I'm convinced that Pakistan must not match their standards; otherwise, they would have granted SIRIM status to Pakistan.. plz, let me know, if my knowledge is not fact!
I have same question in my mind with some addition. That is, as it is a Malaysian National Organization, why does Pakistan need to get this certification? If it is paramount, is it required for Pakistan to be certified prior exporting beef to any other country.
